Triple-Frog

Have to confess I am not familiar with Robert Blake's work nor do I recognise the show from which that still is taken.

His penmanship suggests someone elderly or infirm.Anyone with more information appreciated.

Robert Blake aka Mickey Gubitosi was one of the child stars of the Our Gang/Little Rascals comedy shorts along with Spanky, Alfalfa, Buckwheat, Darla, etc. back in the early 1940s. That is where the picture is from (he is on the lower left).

Blake starred in many movies and TV shows over the years. His did a great job in Truman Capote's "In Cold Blood" and as "Baretta" in the 1970s TV series. His co-star was a large white bird.

Of note he was charged with killing his wife about 10 years ago. He was aquitted but the stigma (a la O.J., etc) lingers. He hasn't acted much, if at all, in the recent past.

Ah,now I know who he is.I just did not recognize him in that photo as that show I don't think ever made it to the UK.Thanks for the information

I just got back from the April 2011 Hollywood Show.

He was. I spent a lot of time talking to him and Johnny Contardo about the show, music rights, and Bowzer's My Music show. And his picture pose was awesome.
