The 18th and 19th of April in Utrecht, Holland, the collector's fair spring edition is taking place. The Dutch name is "Verzamelaars Jaarbeurs".

I'll be visiting this fair wich is for collectors of all sorts, from stamps to music to movies and yes... also a few stands with trading cards are usually to be found.

The extra nice thing (for me) this year is that two of my favorite stars from 'Allo 'Allo (Herr Flick and Helga) will be signing autographs, as wel as some other less known actors.

I'm back from the show and reporting in .

The show was quite good and I had a great time there. This show is being held twice a year and every time it's pretty much the same. I haven't been to the last one, so it was fresh and good to go again. There are several halls, all of wich focus on a specific collecting specilism like music, antiques and... toys!

The few card dealers who were here were to be found in the Toys hall of course. This time around I found 3 Dutch dealer of wich I allready knew one and 1 foreign dealer (UK I think). I was able to pick up quite a few cool things. For example some great deal boxes at low prices, like Super Mario Bros (Box Breakdown), Terminator 2 (Box Breakdown) and Indiana Jones Heritage (Box Breakdown). I was also able to get some singles and complete some subsets with the offerings by the dealers.

The best thing of the show was actually not the products, but the people. I met some really nice people, some of wich are active on Card Talk as I learned. In the furture I might be able to trade cards with them or do multiple box buyes with a group (saves a lot on shipping).

Other from the card collecting I was also able to pick up some great deal DVD box sets (24 and Lost most recent) and get an autographed picture from Allo' Allo' stars Her Flick and Helga .

I forgot to take some pictures, so for those of you interested in that, I'll try to think about the next time around. I'll be certain to go back in 6 months for the next show!

When were you there Harris? I remember meeting you there, but in my memory that must have been at least 3 years ago. Yesterday someone at the fair told me that it was 1,5 years ago.
