I went by and saw Tom Breyer at Julio's Booth to pick up my Dexter Boxes and Ghost Whisperer Boxes. He had a great display with some promo cards and I got to meet Stuart too..Finally Face to Face..Although face to face with me is a little frightning to anyone.

Picked up three boxes of the Dexter Comic Con Boxes which I really liked, very friendly service from Tom at Julio's table. However, it's a shame one or two dealers were making people purchase something before getting the free exclusive Breygent Promos from them. From this I assume they had to "purchase the promo cards from Tom"!!!!

It is my opinion that promo cards are given out free to promote a particular product or has this policy changed over recent times?

When cards are in limited supply is it so wrong to limit them to customers and not just anyone who wants a Freebie?

You can't walk up to the door at the Philly show and say "I want you to give me the promos for free, but I'm not paying to get into the show."

Now, I'm the first guy who will give stuff away. Ask anyone who's seen me at shows. But when you see people take handfuls of "free" promos it's time to limit access or quit doing them all together.

Unfortunatley Wolfie I do not receive large amounts of promos from Manufacturers. If I did I would not charge for them.

It wasn't the case with any of the promos at the dealers this year. Where you could walk up and grab a handful off their table. Those that had the Lost cards out, they were in small stacks that they just refilled. Most cases you had to walk up and ask about the promo for the day. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that in my opinion.

People who were inquiring about GW or Dexter usually were handed the promos with their booth names on them. I never saw them out anywhere just sitting myself. I had to ask about them at every booth. And I thought that was a GREAT idea on Breygents part.

But just like with anything else, there's always a bad apple so to speak. It's a promo. I agree it should be free because that's the nature of the card. But regardless it's not the end of the world.

Thank you Tom and Breygent for the great promos and product that you put out. You do a great job and don't ever think it goes unnoticed or unappreaciated by anyone.

I'm in full agreement with you there Jake. I think if you got to a dealer and ask for the promo you should be given one. What should not happen is that you can go to the booth and pick up 50 and just head for Ebay.

If the temptation is there people will do it and i include myself in that.
