I'm Glad I passed on this one , even if it was My Hometown. Last Year was Lackluster but nowhere near as bad as this.........



for those Old enough to remember 1982 was the Year of The Ultimate Fantasy.... The 1st Reunion of the Entire Star Trek Cast (Minus Nimoy who had just Died in Trek II that Year) at a Convention....... The Promoter decided to book the Summit ( Houston Rockets Auditorium 17,000 seats! )to Produce a ONCE in a LIFETIME STAGE EVENT......

The Promoter then decided he could Raise Prices because....Hell This is STAR TREK..... Fans will Pay ANYTHING....the Cheap Seats went from $15 to $75.00 each. The Great Seats went from $75.00 to $250.00.

Long Story short.... No Bill were Paid...No Actors were Paid...The Biggest Star Trek Convention Disaster on Record. Promoter sorta Disappeared......All Hell Broke Loose.....
