The final toy fair and the final show for 2008 will be at the NEC on Sunday 14th.

This is allways a good one with dealers getting rid of their 2008 stock and buyers looking for christmas prezzies.

How come free Car Park here but not when it's Memorabilia?

It's the deal the organisers do with the NEC to hold their show there.

It is just one more thing Memorabilia needs to get it's act together on.

Can't confirm 100%, but I will be in Oxford this weekend - only 40 mins by train - so I may be able to go (wife, children & sister-in-law too) - I may see you there.

Just got back from the show. Unusually for me i was only there for about 3 hours. There was not one card dealer at the show allthough i did see about 3 people set up with some cards. Any card dealer who had set up today would have had a captive audience.

Loads of people there, when the show opened the queue to get in went half way round the NEC ( slight exag but it was very long )

I looked at a lot of toys and trains and cuddly bears.

Purchased some dvd's including one which could be a real find. It is called the Palitoy Star Wars Advert Archive and is a collection of all the adverts from tv and magazines that were used in the UK back in the 70's when Star Wars was released to promote the toy lines, comes with a nice color booklet and only cost me one wolfie pound.

Also sold some stuff whilst i was there so all in all a good day out. This was the last show of the year so it is goodbye to 2008 and roll on 2009 when i shall once again set off on my show quests to find that elusive item that i did not even know existed.

With any luck i may just find it.

I would have liked to have joined you there, but my daughter and I were both struck down by the dreaded cold virus on Saturday morning. Hope that I get rid of it before Christmas!
