I’ll be there, selling my wares. They’ve got a halfway decent lineup of guests, especially if you’re an ALIENS fan. March 12-13th. Stop by and say Hi if you come.

Ny’ers, NJ an CT fans, come by. It’s a fun show, plus, there’s a bar in the casino! Overpriced but nevertheless, plus! You can take the A Train from Manhattan

I think Aliens' fans would be happy. Biehn and Goldstein are there. We were just talking about Biehn's autograph cards. He and Goldstein don't always turn up for these things. I checked the website, but can't seem to figure out the cost.

Maybe I'll be able to get over there one of these days, used to hit it back when they had the big outdoor market. Just not possible right now, but I hope it's a great show for you.

They had predicted a really crappy weekend, especially ice and snow on Saturday. It didn't turn out to be very bad at all, but between that and the gas prices, I'm sure it kept the crowd down. Hope they got enough business and I kind of think that some people may have gotten some good bargains if all the tables made it. Would like to hear about it too.

The weather was awful Saturday - cold, windy and snowy. Kind of kept the crowd low, but it rebounded Sunday and I had a decent show. Plus I got my Jeanette Goldstein auto and photo op Big Grin and we got to add more signatures to our Sigourney Weaver signed Aliens poster. They did away with the plastic barriers between you and the talent for photo ops, so that was good. Also after about 30 years I finally got Denise Crosby. It was funny, a lot of people approached our table and asked if the autograph cards were real. Roll Eyes
I benefited from Discovery 3 just coming out, sold several boxes to Trekkies. I also benefitted from being the only non-sports dealer(If you don’t count the strictly Pokemon sellers). Considering it was only 19 minutes by car from my home, not too bad at all.

Great stuff, glad to see it all worked out in the end for you. Brilliant to have it so close to home.

I knew Saturday was going to be a problem. I'm about 40 minutes away from there, but we had very little snow. Just bad enough to be the kind of day you don't want to go too far.

It must be fun trying to explain autograph cards to people who have never seen them before. The first question is always, how do you know they are real? So you try to explain and they still don't believe it. Then you tell them the price! Eek

That's what happens when you talk to people outside the hobby, which is most people I know. Big Grin Glad to hear it went OK, maybe the next one will have better weather.

Yet those folks have NO trouble paying $140 for a box of Pokemon cards….
