If anyone wants to book at The Hilton Garden Inn, our host hotel for the upcoming Philly Non-Sports Card Show on May 14 and 15, I wanted to pass along some info.
The hotel rate will be $84 / night (plus tax) and the Group/Convention for use on the Hilton Garden Inn website is PNSGB. Please use this code to ensure you get the lower hotel rates and to also ensure we get credit for the rooms used. Please book by 4/22.
We have also locked in special rates at two other area hotels. Both are also very nice hotels.
Comfort Suites 610-437-9100 $89 +tax deluxe continental breakfast, cut-off date 4/29 – code Philly Non-Sport Card Show
Holiday Inn 610-433-2221 $69 +tax does not include breakfast, cut-off date , cut-off date 4/29, code PNS
We are once again planning a Card Talk gathering to be held at the Hilton Garden Inn on Sunday morning, as we have done for the past two shows. Details are not firmed up yet but I did want to note it.
Wow, this early information is great, I am impressed with your efforts, Harris! Was this a New Year's resolution? I am off to sign up for my room at the Hilton! Are we planning another Casino trip?

You and Mr. DeFranzo do a fine job with the donuts, so why mess with a good thing?

Thanks Batman. No special reason it's earlier other then that a couple of people have asked.
And yes, I believe another Casino trip will be part of the plans for May. We'll mark you down. If anyone else want to go, please e-mail me.

Axebone and I have our space in the hotel reserved as well. We'll be arriving a day early, traveling together to keep the length of the trip from driving us batty.
YAY!

Just a reminder, today's the cutoff for the Hilton Garden Inn. If you go online it says there's nothing available, but if you call they'll take care of you. I usually like to wait til the last minute to book my room, makes it more exciting.

Hi Ted:
Thank you for posting that! We've just spoke with the Hilton. They have extended the cut-off date by a week for Philly Show guests. So the cut-off date for all three hotels is now Friday, April 29. Even though you still have a week, don't delay....there are not many rooms left of those that we have blocked off for Philly Non-Sports Card Show guests at the Hilton (at the reduced show rate).
By the way, and once again, there is complete hotel information on this page.

Make that about 7pm for arrival - they have moved our connecting flight from washingtom forward 3 times meaning we are now below the minimum recommended time to get through customs. Might have a 6 hour wait for next flight

The only hope I have of getting through customs quickly is that it's less than 2 years since my last visit, so my record should come up straight away. I'll miss Kevin, but will see him 6 hours later

Yes, and customs remembers that visit. Kevin looks forward to seeing you when he gets back to the U.K. He'll bring you a couple of trinkets from the show.

Thanks.
I can't find the telephone number to The Hilton Garden Inn. You listed the other two phone numbers, but not the main one. Please help. We have to call in our reservation. Note: I didn't see a phone number on Facebook either.
Thanks, Fred S

Thanks Mate. I thought that was the Hotel, but I wasn't 100% sure because there's another hotel named The Hilton Garden Inn West Hotel, in the same town. {Ours is The Hilton Garden Inn Airport Hotel.} Thanks again, Fred

Don't forget that the last day to book and get the special show discounted rate for all three hotels is this Friday (April 29).
For any procrastinators out there.....We checked in with Comfort Suites today. They still have rooms available and would like to offer an even lower rate to Philly Show guests.....$75 / night plus tax. They will honor this rate through the show dates. To receive, please call the hotel at 610-437-9100.
