1st I would like to thank all the card talk members who stopped by and wished me well after my recent hernia operation. I'm not sure if that was what kept me going, but let me tell you I'm real tired and sore now. Thanks to those who watched the booth so we could get a quick break. The place was packed all weekend.

2nd Thanks to Uncle Allan and Allysa for stopping by and dropping of some new promos that I could give out. Hopefully next year Inkworks, Rittenhouse and Comic Images will be set up.

3rd, Thanks to Paul for all the passes he gave us to give out to customers for Chicagoland. If 5% of the people we gave out passes to show up then Chicagoland will be great.

As for the show. Well I couldn't ask for better sales(well I guess I could always want more), but I wish more people had bought some stuff to trade. As I always tell people 1/2 of the show is what you sell, the better 1/2 is what you get in. I did get some stuff that I need to sort thru(when I get the chance) But please bring me some stuff at Chicagoland. I love to trade

Anyway great show, great sales, great customers(only had a couple of kooks), great NSU Card Talkers(thanks for the help)

Donna and I appreciate all the support. Don't forget to stop in at Chicagoland and say Hi

Congrats to the customers that found the special autographs in the dollar Chase box. I slipped in a few for a $1 without telling anyone. I wanted to see who would find them 1st. One actually lasted until Sunday morning

Hi Dave, I was at your booth Saturday and was going to introduce myself but you were busy dealing a trade for some heroclix with a customer so I didn't want to interrupt. Instead I just talked for a moment with Donna as my friend bought a few sets from her. I didn't make it back to say hello but I figured I would just do so next month at Paul's show. Smile

Good luck with your recovery from surgery, keep up the good fight !

Regards,
tony

Dave-It was great to meet you. I'm sorry I never made it back on Sunday to see if you had found the X-Files cards (we decided to leave early for home). You seemed in great spirits and I'm thrilled to hear that your weekend went well. I'm looking forward to seeing you again - will you be in Baltimore?
