PITTSBURGH TOY & COMIC SHOW CELEBRATES 20 YEARS APRIL 24-26, 2009!

Pittsburgh, -- Orangestone Promotions, Inc., Promoters of the Steel City Con (http://www.steelcitycon.com) are Celebrating 20 years as Pennsylvania's Largest Toy and Pop Culture convention this April 24-26, 2009 at the Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena (220 Rich Hill Road, Cheswick PA 15024). Promoters of the Steel City Con say that there is something for everyone at this premiere pop culture event. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet their favorite celebrities as well as get some incredible toy and comic book give-aways. Classic TV fans will be happy to meet Catherine Bach ("Daisy Duke" from the Classic TV series the Dukes of Hazzard). A replica of the Classic General Lee will also be on display the weekend of the show for diehard fans. Wrestling Fans will be pleased to meet Mega Super Wrestling Star Mick Foley! Star Wars fans will be happy to know that Orli Shoshan, who portrayed the famous Jedi “Shaak - Ti” will be doing a special signing appearance. Sci-fi Fans will want to meet Herb Jefferson Jr. ("Boomer" from the Classic TV series Battlestar Galactica. Current WBC international Welterweight Boxing Champion, Mia St. John will be meeting fans. As well as being a female boxer, Mia is also a Celebrity Model. Actresses and Supermodels Sandra Taylor and Cathy St. George will also be attending the show and meeting fans. Attendees will also be treated to a large number of Comic Book Artists and Illustrators. Of course, a big reason that most enjoy going to the Steel City Con is to see the hundred of vendors selling new and vintage toys and comic books.

In addition to Celebrity appearances, the Steel City Con is proud to announce that the first 1,000 attendees who purchase a 3 Day Pass will receive a Goodie Bag which is filled with toys and comics valued at more than the price of admission. The Steel City Con is the ONLY Convention in the United States that has consistently given away thousands of toys, comic books and collectibles to its attendees for FREE.

Many Pop Culture fans are tired of paying high admission fees just to walk into a big show. The Steel City Con offers attendees one of the biggest shows in the United States at an extremely low admission cost for both attendees and for dealers. Promoters of the Steel City Con strongly believe that if vendor space is offered at a very low price then dealers will be able to sell their items to show attendees for much less than conventions that charge a huge amount of money for dealer space. I too will be there again, with 5 tables of cards, non-sport boxes, singles and set, as well as MTG, comics and toys!

It's a great show, and now Star Wars fans have even more to look forward to as Anthony Daniels - C3P0 himself, is going to be attending all weekend!
