I normally have a great time looking around this show but I'm not feeling too well this weekend and won't be there this time.
Looking forward to the next one in 4 weeks though.

Might be there if I can find a cheap way of getting into London - the One Day Travelcard has rocketed since last I bought one.

Ditto Nik!

I'm just back from the show where I met up with CSI Dave (who gave me a very nice sketch of Batman and Robin by Doug Riggsby:

I bought this Jeremy McHugh from JTH, which helps my Thunderbirds set to become even more of a master than it is already!

and this sketch of Irina Spalko from Kadran:

(If anyone can help with the artist name, I'd be grateful!)
At the show I met the aforementioned Kadran and JTH as well as the ubiquitous Paul Hart and Millhouse - the show seemed a little quieter than usual, though JTH had a big crowd at his stand whenever I passed! (He did find the time for a chat and showed me two of the Thunderbirds painted cards, which I hadn't seen before!)
After the show, Dave and I went for a longer than strictly neccessary due to my losing my sense of London street geography and ate at an excellent TexMex place near Covent Garden.
Au Res.,
Paul (off to have a long, relaxing bath to sooth my poor aching legs!)

I'm back in London for the first time since moving out of it - as I need to buy the suit for my wedding - so yes, I'm there.

Mainly after a box and binder for the Star Trek Movie cards.

Thanks very much for the well wishes back there CSI Dave and Quaint1.
I should be at the London comic and card show tomorrow. I'm normally found walking around the whole day looking at the comics and stuff and chatting to friends. Come and say hello if you're a CardTalk member.

Would love to go but between London Transport rebuilding the underground for the next decade and a really important bowling match, I will have to save my enthusiasm and cash for next week's Expo Big Grin

I was there - got the NUSU issue with Terminator cover (nice Star Trek promo card too) and got a Lost Season 2 PW6 Kate that I needed to get close to my Season 2 master set. Now all I need to do is find my checklists in all the ?@#*&% boxes in the 'second bedroom' and see if that's actually the case.

No Star Trek movie cards yet though - soooooon Drool
