Hello All! Hope everyone is enjoying their holidays. Looking at the board and getting the feedback from several customers in the Chicago area, especially the ones who can't make Toledo, now possibly thinking of doing a 1 day show in the Chicagoland area in April. What is your input? Obviously, I will not be able to afford to put this on, if only 5 or 10 people wish to attend, so please, speak up and voice your opinion.
Thanks and take care,
Paul

This would be in addition to the March 21-22 Toledo Show.
Thanks Paul

Paul,

Tough decision, but I would be up for a Spring show, even if it's just one day.

I'd be there. . .

But realistically if it makes better sense to focus on a bigger/better fall show than split the effort with another show I'd probably vote for a bigger/better fall show.

If the one-day show in April would be on a Saturday or Sunday, I'd be there. If, however, the show would be Monday - Friday, I'd not take a day off of work for the show.

Thinking of a Saturday. This way it is fair to all the people coming, especially out of staters, not to interfere with going back to work on Monday.
As far as the size of the show, this would be a smaller event, pretty much almost strictly cards.Tables and admission costs will reflect the times of the show.
Thanks Paul

Friday or Saturday only might work.
Would have to know early and upfront...
Date, times(extended hours), location(Bolingbrook?), and vendors(at least a dozen with 90% cards). Handful of artists OK.

Good luck putting something together. Thumb Up

I'd be there, but like Jon, I think it would be better to focus on the big show in the fall.

Do dealers want to come to a small show for one day?

It's only an hour drive for me, but will the folks from Missouri, Michigan and Indiana show up?

Paul,
A one day show would be tough on dealers traveling any distance, I would stick to the fall show and promote the Ohio show as another choice. I know there will be new dealers and customers!

Hi Matt- the website is www.chicagolandexpo.com.
You can email me directly for dealer contract info at cecexpo@gmail.com.
I usually hold two shows a year in the Chicago area, and decided to do a show in Perrysburg, Ohio (Toledo area) Mar 21-22.
Thanks for the interest, talk soon.
Take care.
Paul

Depending on the day, location and cost, I could be interested in setting up as a dealer.

Hello Paul.

It would be way too far for dealers like myself from several states over to set up. And, I'm in agreement with a few others on the thread, please focus more on the Toledo Spring show and the Fall Chicago show.

Happy New Year to all andf have a blessed 209!

Tony
