Wow, that's pretty impressive.

The membership (either weekend or just Saturday or Sunday) entitles you to free autographs from Malcolm McDowell, George Takei and David Hewlett.
There is no charge just to walk around the dealers room. Myself, Ted, and a couple of others will be there selling cards.

Hi Mike:

I missed your post yesterday. Yes, I did make it. It was good. Very crowded. There were several card dealers there including Laura (Wandring Rebel) and TBear (Ted). It's a fun show. Below are some pictures.

I just got back from Shore Leave. It was great seeing Laura (WandringRebel) and Ted (Tbear).

I got the autographs that I wanted (Malcolm McDowell and George Takei). It was a great privilage to meet both of them. George was very friendly, Malcolm not quite as much but did at least look up for a picture.

I also got some autographs of David Hewlett for a friend and we had a short conversation and he shook my hand... Nice gesture...

I saw everyone that was appearing except for Kate Hewlett who I do not think attended the show today.

I'll post a couple of shots once I load the pictures on my PC.

As for cards, I spent $1. A Bionic Woman Lenticular card. I did buy a box of 9-card pages from TBear, but that was about it..

No other cards that I was looking for and I am not big these days in Sci-Fi Memorabillia...

Mainly went for the autographs....

Thanks. I had taken a few more pictures, but they were basically the same as what you took, so I could not see posting them again.

Allentown is up-in-the air right now for me, but I'll talk to you about that sometime soon...

Mike & Harris - It was great seeing both of you, thanks for posting pictures! Kate Hewlett was not there on Sunday as she had to catch an early flight for an acting audition.

Thanks for everyone who atteneded. I had a great time trading and chatting with everyone.

At some point on Sunday a woman with a volunteer badge came up and asked if I had the Transformer movie cards as W. Morgan Shepard was in the movie but his scenes were cut. I gave the set to the lady as she was actually getting them for Mr. Shepard. He later came up to thank me and explained that he had no idea these images existed until someone came up with cards for him to sign. It turns out that all his scenes were cut from the movie so he was quite thrilled that there were images that existed. A very nice man.

I also enjoyed meeting Harris and Mike at Shore Leave. The guests were very friendly and the crowd was fun.
Laura was gracious as always even though she has to deal with a lot of issues at these events!
I look forward to seeing everyone at Allentown. I agree Mike has got to make it but Batman - who are you calling old?!?!?
