This may not be the appropriate place for this, but here goes.

I'm predicting that there will be some cool promo cards at SDCC, and I'd really appreciate some help getting them.

Spider-Man Archives
Justice League of America Archives
Star Wars Galaxy 5

Any of the following in any shape or size:
Marvel
G-Force
Twilight

Thank you!

It's funny you should say that because i was thinking there would be very little in the way of cards at this years comic con.

I asked on the Rittenhouse forum on 20th if there would be any promos. Still waiting for an answer.

Are you actually going to look for a ticket then?

Paul, hope this helps. According to my sister, Comic-Con has had a handful of ticket returns (single and four-days). SDCC has been putting up the returned tickets on Ebay. I don't know their ID but you should try a search. Good luck!

This is apparently true. If you go to the Comic-Con site, you'll see an image at the top of the page. By clicking on that image, you'll be taken to eBay for available tickets.

It would have been hard to imagine a Comic-Con without Paul "Air Miles" Hart there. It's like he's returning to the Mother Ship Big Grin

Tickets were for sale, and they sold out on eBay in about an hour or two lol.

I believe, from what I call tell on Twitter, the Comic-Con folks are selling passes every night at 7:00 pm PACIFIC time on eBay.

Also, this is a stretch and I would never even suggest it on a public forum except that I know you are desperate...if you are good friends with any stores in your area who are NOT going to the show and are Diamond Comics customers, maybe you can do them some favors in exchange for the passes they can receive free from Diamond. It's probably a long shot but I run under the notion that one must exhaust every avenue, even if it means whoring oneself out to sort cards, vacuum carpets, alphabetize comics, wash windows, etc. in exchange for passes. Good luck!

Looking at the list of exhibitors that are posted on the comic con site, I don't see any of the trading cards companies listed...Topps, Upper Deck, Artbox, or Rittenhouse. The only one I saw was Wildcard Ink which will probably have the same Gumby promos they've had the past couple of years.

I always look forward to the signing opportunities that Upper Deck provides with the artist and promo cards from Topps.

Artbox *is* there, but Topps is not.
