Well, what seems like earlier than ever, tickets are on sale. It seem as though there is going to be less people at the preview night as the organisers are selling with and without the Wednesday - although with no discount
 It would be a good interest point for me if they published how many tickets are available for each day (I'm a trivia geek  ).____________________ Spider-Pig is my new hero! |

I found a hotel for $84 a night on hotels.com, Hawthorn Suites (nothing fancy), 3.5 miles away from the convention center. It's got pretty good customer reviews, too! ____________________ "Is Chewbacca the princess?" |

Went ahead and got my membership w/preview night. It is the early-ist I've ever got it. Usually wait till Feb/March. Don't want to worry, so got it out of the way. 2010 haay.

I got a SWEET deal on a hotel. But, paid in advance. I'm still holding a 2nd direct reservation with a Best Western though, that does not need to be paid until you show up at the con in 2010. LMK if you want it before I cancel it. Have a blessed day. Tony |

Just registered for the show... No preview night but I have never been to preview night before so no biggie. Always book my flight out on Thursday morning.
Hoping to have enough free air miles for the flight & I'll start searching for a motel room I can afford??! |

Has anyone who's registered online received the normal email confirming your purchase?
I bought our tickets as soon as online sales began, and the charge showed up on my credit card statement either last month or the month before. I only recently noticed the lack of a confirmation Email. I wrote customer service a few days ago inquiring but have had no response. Anyone? |

Yeah I got the confirmation with the barcoding in an email within a few seconds after I registered/paid.

I was still trying to work out the finances to go, but my wife refuses to go if we don't have 4 day passes because of the hassle of waiting in the entrance line every morning. Jason00 - You don't have to wait in line every morning. I had seperate passes for Thursday and Friday for SDCC 2009. I waited in line on Thursday for that days pass, walked the floor all day then after 4 pm went back up to the sails pavilion and got my Friday pass and thus didn't have to wait in line on Friday morning.
