At the upcoming 50th Philly Non-Sports Card Show (May 2-3), we will be hosting a dinner in celebration of the 50th show and Frank and Phyllis Reighter. We will not be holding a Card Talk breakfast this time as we want to try and encourage as many as possible to attend the dinner.

The dinner will be $25.00 a person and it will be a sit-down dinner with your choice of two entrees. The dinner will take place on Saturday evening May 2 after the show at 6:00 PM (the room will be open at 5:30). We will accept payment/reservations starting March 1. At this time, we would like to know if are planning to attend and how many will be attending. We would like the name(s), e-mail address, and phone number. If you are interested, please e-mail Frank Reighter at fereighter@aol.com.

Thanks and hope to see you there.

Harris

Yes, admittedly, it is not the least expensive thing going but everything is so expensive these days. And this is after we negotiated a lower rate.

We do hope everyone will consider it. Bear in mind that the breakfast in San Diego for Card Talk members runs nearly $19, so $25 for dinner is not too bad when you consider that. Plus...you have to eat, right? And you'll likely spend $20 or so per person for that when you factor in your tip and tax. Here, it's just a little more (with tip and tax already included) and you get to eat with your non-sport friends. Plus, you'll be able to say you were there.

I was only joking about the Burger & Fries Harris, you're right, $25 for a night out with friends and meal is very reasonable. I won't be at this show but will see you at the Comic Con Breakfast. Good luck with this show.

Good news. There will be a special kids rate for those who would like to attend the dinner with their children. For those 12 and under, the rate will be $12.50. So OWM, if you would like to bring the kids, the rate just go a bit better. Smile

Hi All:

For all those interested in coming to the 50th Philly Show Dinner, we are now accepting payment. A PDF form has been added to our forms page. Or you can load the form directly by clicking this link. Everyone who e-mailed us already should have received the form today via e-mail (it's the same form as what's posted online).

Once again, don't forget that all who attend the dinner will receive a promo with art by Nar! We hope that won't be your only reason to attend, of course, since the dinner should be a lot of fun.

The deadline to sign up and get your payment into us is April 17. We are not accepting payment via PayPal so you'll need to download the form and send it in with a check.

Thanks.
