Yes, the bulk of the dealers in Baltimore sell comics and there has also been a good selection of toys in the past. Not sure what type of selection of statues there although I believe Gentle Giant will be set up at the show this year.

Baltimore is prob the biggest COMIC con there is. Mark likes to keep it about the comics. Without all the other stuff that has taken over so many of the other shows.
I HIGHLY reccommend anyone thinking of going, to check it out.
Go to the Con's web page & check out the guest list!

Yes, all those people who complain that San Diego Comic Con has gone "Hollywood" should attend Baltimore. Baltimore is all about the comics and the guest list gets better every year.

Just 2 weeks away... Who else is going to B'more? I'm a virgin, this will be my first time. Even though I've been collecting cards for years ... 6 figures worth ... I've never made a trip down. I'm making it a point this year to go. If anyone else is going and would like to set-up some trades...post a reply. I mainly deal with pre-2000 cards but some newer stuff still peaks my interest...

I'll be set up selling cards, toys and Heroclix. Stop by and say hi and I'll try to get some new promos to hand out.

I found out my booth number. Stop by booth 106 and say hello. Will try to arrange to have some newer sell sheets and promo cards to hand out. Also will have a nice variety of newer titles for sale as boxes or sets. Also plenty of chase cards too to be found in my showcases and binders.

I just got back from day 2 at the Baltimore Comic Con and what a show!

I got to meet Rosen, Feldman. Jusko, Cho, and many other artists. All were willing signers of the prints they had for sale.

I also bought a nicely done Donald Duck color sketch card from Wandering Rebel who was set up as an artist for this show.

I also met Dave Moulder in person for the first time. He had a variety of items for sale which made a lot of people happy. It was nice meeting another friendly member of CardTalk!

I only saw two other card sellers at the show besides Dave since WR was set up as an artist.

It was truly a show for Comic Fandom with so many artists from major and smaller companies.

Went on Sunday and had an absolute blast! Met so many great artists I look up to, especially Sergio Aragones!!

Also was surprised to see John Watkins-Chow there as well. Purchased a nice Galactus sketch from him and we chatted quite a bit about doing sketch cards, great guy. Smile

Overall, a decent show.
I got to chat with Joe Jusko for a bit. Talked about his work on the set. Got a P2 promo from him. Smile
Got autos from Joe Kubert & Sergio Aragones (he did a quick little sketch with his autos as well.
Won 3 sketches at the Hero Initiative charity auction.
Very busy the entire weekend.
