Time again for this show...Sunday, August 19. A large room of 85 tables...40-50 dealers. Mostly comics and toys...there are usually 2-4 non-sports dealers there including me. Please stop by and say hello as I would love to see/meet card talk members!

I am located at the 1st 2 tables on the right of the center aisle as you walk in (unless they change the entrance door!). 2 tables of cards, comics and statues. Just tell me you saw this on Card Talk and I will have some goodies for you!

Hope to see you there!!

David

Here is your show report:

Another great show! Traffic was heavy up to around 3 o'clock after the costume contest at which time it slowed down. Sales were strong with Comics, Cards and Statues about the same across the board, toys a distant 4th.

Card sales were mostly sets as inserts sales were very low...the exception being Complete Avengers inserts, BenchWarmer and a Buffy 10th Ann. case loader. Comic sets out sold other genres combined 2 to 1 as expected since this is a comic show...DC vs. Marvel, WildCATS, Marvel 4, Complete Avengers, Silver Surfer among others. Buffy 10th moved well and sold a surprising # of LOTR sets. And Wacky Packs sets always do well at this show. Also sold a nice lot of Monkee's singles from the 60's and large #'s of Disney singles from the set of art cel cards (from ArtBox?).

No box sales and almost no high end inserts interest. The norm for this show has been low end inserts and sets for the past few years for me.

Since I was busy most of the day I did not get to walk around much...only saw 1 other non-sports dealer there. The other 2 usuals more not present this time.

Again I want to thank promoter Tim Gordon. This show has grown over the years into the best 1 day comic/card/toy show in Florida!
