Went to the SW Fan Days II last Sat... Always have a good time at the shows & this was no exception. We had beautiful cool sunny weather on Sat (It lasted one day )

Bought the advance VIP ticket so I got the VIP promo card set, souvenir lanyard, big Clone Wars poster, and Official Pix portfolio. This year there are more cards in the set (nearly 30) and the quality was the best yet for Fan Days.

Enjoyed getting in-person autos from Christy Marie (voted best Princess Leia I've feasted my eyes on..) and goofy Ken Tarleton (the Elvis Stormtrooper) Reps from the 501st, Rebel Legion, SW Costume Club, etc were there and they handed out some SW swag (Tatoos, magnets, cards). Steve Sansweet was there again signing his book and his Fan Days card, but Jamie King canceled at the last minute (RATZ!)

Talked a bit with Matt Lantner (90210, Clone Wars) His sis is moving to TX outside of Houston so I gave him the lowdown on the area. He signed my ginormous Clone Wars poster. Then some ladies (Clone Wars voice actresses) also signed it just before security chased me away... Seems my VIP "status" was not "respected" in this signing room LOL!

There was an auction of SW collectibles so I sat in for a few minutes. Talked with a SW collector/seller who said he might bid $500 on a Geo Lucas auto card but I didn't stay to see...

Went thru dozens of 3/$1 comic boxes and left with some nice goodies from some of the sketch artists and the freebie table (Check my CardTalk trade post) so my promo hunger was satiated for one day .

Sure hope that promoter Ben Stevens continues this show especially since Wizard World Texas has bit the dust.
