EMERALD CITY COMIC CON

7th Annual ECCC :: April 4th & 5th, 2009
Washington State Convention & Trade Center :: Seattle, WA

Fantastic show. Great guest list. More guests to be announced.

The show should have many of the current promo cards at are being released in March/April.

There could be an Exclusive or two. Too early to be sure at this time.

Nice show to meet artists and get sketches/sketch cards.

Much in the way of Non-Sport cards?

Might be able to convince the husband to go on a roadtrip for this one!
(Down here outside of Portland)

Paws- not a huge selection of non-sport. Last year I was one of only 2 vendors that had non-sport cards (1/2 my booth, mostly boxes/base sets, some premium chase) The other guy has mostly premium chase cards at rediculious $$$ (about 1/5 of his booth). Infact he bought some stuff from me before the show started, then i saw them at his booth for almost tripple the price! However their were some great sketch artists selling returns and commisions at good prices and were all a pleasure to talk to. The ones I talked to were Amy Pronovost , Mark DoSantos, Tone Rodriguez, and Edward Punn. Their were probably more...but I did not get to make the full rounds and cheeck everyone out. The local portland comic book show (2x a year) has about the same-ish volume of non-sport stuff from the vendors, but far less guests artists. And is a MUCH smaller show.

sherlock2- 1,000's for sure.

I spent a total of an hour in the show. I was only looking for cards and only found one guy selling anything. I was hoping to find a box or two for Open Box day but didn't find anything.

I also picked up some extras of the X-men Archives Cp1 if anyone needs them contact me.

I have the cards in hand. I did get some emails from a few people. This was for the X-Men Archives CP1 card. I did however find another card today. It is Thor for the Legends & Lore set coming out this summer. I have a few of those available also.
