Popular performers James Marsters and Anthony Stewart Head; along with Writer and Executive Producer for Buffy, Angel and the hit new series Lost – David Fury; are all heading to Melbourne for a special Convention appearance in July 2005. Appearing at the third annual Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel Convention in Melbourne the stars will be VIP guests at the fan-favourite event.

The Convention will feature the three special guests in a rare up close and personal arena for Australian fans of the cult shows. Each guests will be conducting Audience Question and Answers forums; and audience members will be able to meet with the much loved stars in the Autograph sessions and will have Photograph opportunities over both days of the Convention.

Collectible merchandise, discussion forums and special screenings amoung other activities will also be apart of the weekend; which sees fan’s returning to Melbourne year after year. Not only to see the stars; but to be apart of the active fan-community with attendees coming from as far as Europe and the US to be share in the weekend with like minded enthusiasts of the still popular programmes, despite both shows having wrapped in the past year.

In addition to the Convention revelry; James Marsters will be rounding out the weekend by performing an exclusive acoustic concert special on the Saturday night. The concert will be a showcase of the upcoming release of his debut solo album, which includes original songs from the Californian-born actor, guitarist and singer. Fresh from his recently performed concert series in the UK, this one night only show will be James’ only Australian performance for 2005.
