I've got another 7 pics from memorabilia but they are the 1st 7 snaps on a 40 picture roll. So I may be some time before they are processed .

We've never had the chance to see this series in Belgium. So I probably should buy the DVD's. It looks an interesting series.

The new series of Dr Who may be popular with the kids but having watched The Ark in Space on Freeview last night I still say the "old" series with Tom Baker, Liz Sladen and the late Ian Marter was tons better and much scarier.

I finally have a few minutes to post about Memorabilia. I enjoyed the show once again very much. It was just a bit down for us, sales-wise, but that’s the nature of the hobby these days. It was still worth the trip and I hope to go again next year.

It was fun to see all the usuals that I have now come to know from the past shows – Wolfie, Graham, Hammer, RupT, Lesley, steshell, Rita, Boldlygone, treksearcher, Scouse, Steve J, Andrew David, etc. Also, it’s been great having the three musketeers to help out at the NSU table these past few years: Quaint1, CSI Dave, and Patdata. I don’t know if I could do the show without their support (driving, their help at the show, helping translate English to American English, showing me new English delicacies such as Hob Nobs cookies!, etc.) so a big thank you to them. And also to Paul Hart and “Lord Ford” for all of their help and support.

This year, I got treated to a great curry dinner by Wolfie! Wolfie even broke out his wallet for the occasion. Lost of dust spewed out of it which leads me to think it doesn’t see the light of day often. Seriously, Wolfie was very generous and showed me more of the Birmingham sites this year and back to the comic shops haunts where we see packs of cards at £4 per pack! Wolfie even patiently waited while I looked through bins of CDs.

I should also say thanks to everyone who came out to the Card Talk gathering. Sorry that we couldn’t get better arrangements this year but the meeting in the “secret location” went well, imo, even if we had to use “Secret Location B”.

It was good to see and talk with all the U.K. dealers again too. I couldn't believe how many friggin LOTR Masterpieces sketches that Card Vault has! Great to see Anthony Lee, UK Paul, and all the others as well.

Thanks also to John The Hat for the Tardis box. John, I put it out at the show in The Netherlands, just for display, and you wouldn’t believe how many people wanted to buy it. I even had one woman who came behind the table and let’s just say, was too much of a close-talker for my tastes (Seinfeld reference). Enjoyed our talk about America too.

Overall, it was another great trip! Sorry that "it’s back to reality" now. I’ll post my pictures soon.

He sounds like a really nice chap this wolfie and not half as bad as some people paint him. Wink
