Hey hey hey there guys!!

okay what to say and where to start??

I arrived got into the convention arena at 9am for early bird (and let me tell you, the queue was huge....). First port of call was to geet ueueing tickets for the guests which i wanted autographs for. Kate Mulgrew, Garret Wang, Billy Boyd, John Barrowman (for Jason00) and Charisma Carpenter (for jademaliburoad).

Most of the guest arrived on time except for Kate Mulgrew who didnt arrive until 11am (and guess what, yep i was in that queu at 10am on the dot waiting for her with scouse691 [my official photographer]) so we were standing there liek bananas until the annoucement was made, so then promptly moved into Garret Wangs queue!! He was aplasant enough fellow, both willing to take time to talk and take posed photos!! which was great.

I then went to get an autograph for John Barrowman for Jason00. Also a very nice bloke... next port of call, Billy Boyd an extremely plesant fellow and very accomodating!!

I then moved on to Charisma... and now this was quite upsetting as she (i say she, but it could have been the organisers or her managers or whatever) was not allowing not only posed photos, but ZERO photos at all. any attempt at trying to take photos resulted in you being asked to move back, or strenly being told "no photos", or even the threat of having your thumbs chopped off (not really) But i managed to get her autograph for jademaliburoad... and for some reason i think Charisma couldnt quite rmemeber who she was, as she wasn;t signing consistently.... sometimes it seemd to be "Charisma Carpenter", sometimes "Charisma" or sometimes "Chase", well it looks like chase... but could also be Charis.... (if you can imagine that signed by her!! The latter is what i got for you Isabelle!! Hope thats okay?? She was lovely enough anyway, and VERY pretty!!

Well that was it as far as auto went PHEW!!... for a fll list of guests that was there, visit the website (there were too many to name here)

While there i ran into (from cardtalk) davetaylor who was helping out the organisers with auto queues (great to meet you mate), i bumped into GRraham also.... and scouse691 as mentioned earlier!!

Then it was onto check out the dealers stalls. Now the arena is a very big venue, but i think they didnt sell as many tables as they wanted so it looked a little empty (dealer wise) but many dealers were given wider berths to extend their table so that made up for it a little. I already said there were tonnes of collectors there many of which im sure wwere there for the autos mainly!

I ran intot the usual suspect card dealers there... Anthony and TRaci from Card Collectables, Derek and Ash form Dereks Tradings cards, Chris (gimli), Cards inc and Collctorzone were there, UK Paul, Paul Hart, Card vault and a couple of others who i can;t remember off the top of my head!! It was great to see em all and say hi.....

On my rounds i picked up a good few cards for myself including a bnuch of ROTS sketch, ROTK Update binder promos, CSI: Miami set of 5 DVD promos (very nice), Sopranos S1-1 promo, X-Files Connections PP-UK promo, Alias Season 3 Case topper julie Bell Auto (lovely card) and a comic and a few other bits and pieces aso a great haul i think!!

At about 2pm i finished wondering the stalls and decided to help out a fellow card friend behind their stall (first anthony) and then Derek and Ash, where i got to speak to loads of collector and make some great sales in the process which was fun!!

at abt 4.30pm i decied it was time to head home.... and here i am now reporting to all you lovely people of my days expeditions!!

What a day!Train broke down Took 2 hours for a 1 hour journey.First time i'd been to this gig and was surpised at the lack of custom.Maybe because of the good weather (although not today)but Memorabibla should take note of the little things that really help,like a cash machine and a well organised queuing system/board.Saw RupT,Scouse and Gimli who all looked averagely pleased at being there (hope the nose gets better soon Jon).
Got Kate Mulgrew's auto (not even eye contact)and Adam Baldwins - what a nice bloke, and so different to the characters he plays.A sign of a good actor.
I got a few Alias cards and a Alyssa Milano auto card to complete my three sets
All in all a good day.Shame I couldn't find the Serenty Stall but I am in line for a Fantastic Four premier ticket (please )I would definitely go again

I met Charisma, Adam Baldwin and two 24 stars, Sarah Clarke and Xander Berkeley.
Adam was amazingly nice, he posed for pictures and personalised his autograph for me.
I was one of the first in line for Sarah and Xander and they both appeared to be really cool.
I was slightly disappointed by Charisma. She barely made eye contact and I was disappointed that she wasn't doing any photos.
I got a couple of cool cards, including a Charmed Melinda Clarke auto for £10 and X-Files Connections Veronica Cartwright auto for £10 also.

It reads "Charisma Carpenter" but I saw that she had signed others as just "Charisma". She didn't put any sort of "To..." or "Best Wishes" stuff on there, just her name.

Sorry I thought that you meant, you gave up waiting when she was going to be late and went to Garett Wang's queue... you did see her didn't you?

There's a whole lot of upset on the Showmasters boards as people who saw her found her snappy and irritable - even people who have met her before and said she was lovely. I was just wondering whether you met her and how you got on? She was fine with me but extremely busy and rushed, Mark and I went off and had a good chat with Garett to make ourselves feel like we got the true experience... he was a lovely guy.

I wonder STGeek would know - there was never a costume card for Harry Kim was there? I can't remember having seen one

I made a quick visit on the Sunday morning, came over from the Angel convention that was being held at Heathrow at the same time.
Got there at 8am and there was about 40 people in front so managed to get low virtual tickets for both Adam Baldwin and Charisma.
Adam was there first and he was very accomodating, posing for photos and quite chatty.
Charisma was next and I found her to be very pleasant and nice and although wouldn't pose with people I was allowed to take a photo of her posing by herself (don't know how to post pictures but I can email it to someone if they would do it on my behalf).
She even apologised that it was a rush because there was such alot of people to get through.
So I had a good experiance meeting her, although I would agree that her autograph was a bit wayward - I got "To Graham Charisma" on my 2 items, some people didn't even get the "To", but her queue was very busy.
