Hello all, We are already working hard on the 10th Anniversary Expo, which includes
The Charity project is a card project that I am currently working on.
I have not released a bunch of info on it yet, because, I wanted the card blanks to arrive first.
So..
The project will be a Treasure Chest,USA handmade hardwood, containing 50 different pieces of original art. There will be a certificate of authenticity, a pamphlet on the contributing artists, a special thank you from the Chicagoland Expo and the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation.
Contributing artists include Chris Achilleos and Ken Kelly, and many others.
I will be asking artists this weekend if they wish to participate in this fundraiser.
The preorders will start by Sept 2009, and the product will be available Sept 2010 at the 10th Anniversary Chicago Expo. The edition is limited to 100 chests only and there will be a maximum purchase of 2 chests per household. This edition will be geared to the collectors first, if there are any left over, than there will be a second solicitation to the dealers.
We do have official permission from Lucasfilms to include Star Wars art, and permission from Topps to include Wacky Packages and Garbage Pail Kids in this collection.
