This is for all of us poor saps that won’t be able to go to the Comic Con in San Diego this year.
I’m going to celebrate. I am going to find me a good box of cards to open and do it really slowly in a really comfortable position with a good movie on the tube and lot’s of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream in the freezer. Preferably - Chunky Monkey, something with lots of special cards and a good Sci Fi movie!! That’s day one – I am still working on day 2-3-4. What will you guys be doing to celebrate and make yourselves feel better??? Greetings  |

Um is it this week? Then I'll be getting ready for a weekend trip to Massachusetts
Just me and hubby - dropping the kids off with grandma. Gotta love that!! If it's next week then I'll be running story time at Vacation Bible School - wooooo STORY TIME!!!! Actually, I picked it so I can't complain *lol* |

I will check into it. I know Georgie boy has a house on Lago di Como in Italy, but I don't do pilgrimages. What I am reading here though shows me that Ben & Jerry's, a box and a movie isn't the consolation I thought. I am glad I still have day 2-3-4 to plan. I want to go to Hawaii too!!! I'd even take the man I'm already married too with me. He is the only man I know that surpasses George Clooney and that by miles. Sorry Georgie. Greetings |

I like this post too. Well... missing a Comic Con will take some getting used to since I've been the last 4 years.
Actually I will enjoy reading the show reports & seeing the pix postings here, and I will get some trade goodies ready just in case! Plus my staying at home means I don't need to worry about goings-on while I'm away... Last summer while I was at the Con, my lovable son held a surprise yard sale on my property & sold my bed ! Been sleeping on a couch ever since then... |
