I would like to lodge a formal complaint against Video #4. I'm in it and that's simply not permitted. That, and I almost ran into the cameraman - at least take pictures of the CUTE men in my family Eek

About video #2, I didn't know there was a giant Harris Bobblehead figure at the show Wink.
Great job, Bill Thumb Up.

I really enjoyed the show also, it was great to meet some of the dealers I've dealt with on-line previously, as well as the artists in attendance, fellow Card Talkers, Card Companies and not forgetting Harris of course! Bill's videos are great, I make a fleeting appearance in videos 3 & 4. Talking to Robert on the Rittenhouse stand, he opened up the cases and showed me the costumes for Stargate Atlantis. The Dr McKay jacket has some claw marks and blood on one of the sleeves which will make some neat variant cards.!

Roxanne is a big collector of Bobbleheads. No lie. This might explain it. Razz

I finally got the first of the two dinner programs on YouTube. This is pretty much the slide show that ran before the dinner. In the "dinner version", the slides were on screen longer, and there was music that accompanied this. But when I tried to add in music in Picasa, the video seems to fail so rather then spending an hour trying to figure out why, I took the easy way out and dumped it on YouTube to the sound of silence.

Here it is:

50th Philly Non-Sports Card Show Pre-Dinner Slide Show

I still plan to put the "video presentation" on YouTube and hope to do that soon. That one was done in PowerPoint so hopefully, I can get it on with music.

Harris

Wow... I'm totally interested in knowing more of the history of the Philly show. It's kind of an eye opener to think that not only have people been seriously collecting non sports before you were born, but that they even congregated at shows like this.

That's ok. My music is better. I played it to (insert obscure reference no will get here) Gert Wilden music.

Well, since you said that...You could always purchase the show program. There is an article in there on the history of the show written by Frank Reighter, the original show promoter and current co-promoter of the show. Plus you get show promos with the book as well.

Not trying to push sales but since you ask.... Razz
