There, I made a commitment. Don't tell my wife.

The "Send Quaint1 To A Philly Show" fundraising scheme starts here... Especially if there is post-show drinking and pre-sow donut eating activity going on. Big Grin

Seriously, thanks all for the reports - I am insanely jealous.

There's a nudie bar there? Dang, Harris, if you'd told me that maybe I could've made it out there! Wink

Ah yes, Scarlet's. When in Allentown, you gotta check out the local culture.
Thre are also clubs downtown by city hall. Next time.

@Ghostrider666:
There are quite a few nudie clubs in the area, ERV's, C.R. Fanny's, some place over on 378 in Bethlehem....just to name a few....

Erv's disturbs me if only because it is located directly behind a supermarket...

Since I had to take a vacation from work my hubby and I took a road trip. We went to Bowling Green KY to the Corvette museum & plant for him and I got to go to the Philly show.
I had some great chats with several of the artists and was able to collect my commission cards from Jim Kyle. Talked to Scificards. I was wowed by the # of dealers there. So many more than ever show at Megacon in FL or the local card show that FYI attends every quarter.
I went around several times before deciding what to spend my limited Frown amount of money on but I was pleased with the cards I got.

I would have spent so much more if I had it Big Grin
As hubby and I were walking around I saw some guys cracking a case of Women of Marvel and I was so envious! I'm still hoping to get another box of WOM.
But it was a good time and loved seeing the RA table with the Teyla & Beckett costumes. But wow the actress who plays Teyla must be tiny judging for the vest!
I'm sorry it is so far away since I doubt I'll be able to get back anytime soon.

Hello everyone Wink
I'm sorry it's taken me a while to get here and say thanks.

Really. Thanks a lot for all the great support and fun times at the show. I loved it out there and hope to make it to PA some day again.

Thanks Harris and friends for having me at the show. And for the power cords! hehe. Wink

I'm glad I also got to meet up with some wonderful talented artists like Sean Pence, Jim Kyle, Brian Kong, Danny Kuang, Kate Red Bradley and Rich Molinelli. Smile

The fans were awesome too. Thumb Up

I hope we can rock out again soon! I'm sure we will.
Great show, great fun and great people.

Take care everyone!
Keep rockin!

-Nar!

I get an e-mailed newsletter from Beckett (they grades cards). The latest issue features a short article about the Philly show.

Intresting comment about Screwdown holders being no good for card protection.

I just wanted to take a minute and say thank you to all of the organizers and participants of the Philly Show. It was my first trip to the show, and I had a great time meeting so many people, picking up promos and buying great cards. I was there for the full day on Saturday, and it went by far too quickly!

Nice to meet you at the show Curler. I hadn't realized you came from so far away to the show. Sounds like you enjoyed it (hope so!).
