Turns out I wont be able to make it to the show.
If anyone could pick up a Spider-Man Archives CP1 promo card, I'll gladly trade it from you.

Contact me. Thanx.

The Philly page with all the promos being given away at this weekend's show has been updated. See it here:

Philly Promo Page

You can click on any of the images to get a larger view and then you can click on the left or right side of the image to advance forward/backward.

Go crazy!

If anyone has the Patrick Swayze card from the Arabian Horse card series and could bring it to the Philly Show this weekend for me to borrow, I would be most appreciative! I need a high resolution scan for something we're working on. I will get it back to you shortly (perhaps with a promo or two? Smile )

Hoping someone out there can help. If so, please see me at the show.

OK, this will probably be the last Philly promo card that I'll post here for the upcoming show....mainly because the show is just three days away!!

Above is a LOST Seasons 1 thru 5 promo (number P7) from Rittenhouse Archives. Stop by the Rittenhouse Archives tables at the show this weekend to pick-up yours.

Hope to see lots of you this weekend.

Harris, Is this card exclusive to Philly? Also in your post you say this card is #P7, on the Philly promo page, you say P10. Which is it?

Thanks.

Mike.

I am not making the same mistake this show. We are actually coming up Friday night so I should be there at show opening on Saturday!

As Batman says, if you have the chance, I think it would be worth your time to stop by the show. Shows like this need your support more than ever and where else can you get so many exclusive promos under one roof for the low admission price?

Hope to see you this weekend!

Mike.

I have been hinting at a change in the way I do sketch cards for a while now, and now I can reveal what I have in store come November:

A wider format makes all the difference, don't you think? It's like widescreen vs standard when it comes to film: there's just something about that aspect ratio that I love. It will be fun to have a larger canvas on which to compose images and I'm sure that my customers will enjoy a change of format as well after nearly five years of drawing on the standard trading card sized.

This is a high speed recordings of me inking and coloring my first Big Fat Sketch Card (the song is, of course, "Yoda" by Weird Al Yankovic): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y710ule2ruQ

The cards are the same size as other wide trading cards that have been on the market for a while now (2 1/2 x 5 inches) and each card will be sold with a wide Top Loader plastic holder. They are drawn using Micron pens and Prismacolor markers & pencils.

I will start selling these as part of my next big sale in the first week of November. But those lucky enough to be attending the Non-Sport Card Show in Allentown, Pennsylvania this weekend will get a chance to buy the first Big Fat Sketch Cards! I'll be bringing some pre-drawn cards to the show as well as taking a limited number of custom card orders on Saturday to be delivered the next day at the show. The price for the cards at the Allentown show will be $20 per card (the regular price for these cards come November will be $30).

See you in Allentown!

-Otis

You can't beat widescreen cards for movie sets and for sketches having the widescreen card is great as you get the whole sketch instead of these sketches that are split into two cards and you only have one of them.

Once again I will NOW not make the show. I had my hotel, flight and everything in order but my flight out of Dayton was canceled this morning as they only had 6 passengers. I am never flying delta again! It will not work rescheduling for later in the day because I was scheduling this around some work traveling and now everything is screwed up!

I was really looking forward to the show. Hopefully in the future I will be having a booth rather than just showing up for fun! Anyhow everyone enjoy!

Triangle,

Sorry but I won't be able to do any trading with you since I won't be there after all.

Have a great weekend without me again Shake Head

Thanks, Robert. If you see a man that is sporting a questionable hat and happens to be spending a November week in the UK, please cross his palm with some promos. He uses them to bribe people to talk to him Big Grin Thumb Up
