Got in another image of a promo that will be given away at the upcoming Philly show. This one's from Rittenhouse Archives and is a Spider-Man Archives promo, number CP1. This promo will be given away by Rittenhouse from their tables.
There should be a couple of more of these to announce in the days ahead. Hope to see you at the show! |

Wasn't that card originally going to be the P3 binder card?

I'm trying to make the arrangements to be at this show. I haven't been there for 2-3 years, well actually since it moved to the Merchant Square Mall.
Fingers crossed. ____________________ I'm looking for colored "Robots the Movie" sketch cards by Inkworks. http://www.comicartfans.com/Ga...etail.asp?GCat=25744 |

LATE BREAKING NEWS!!
Hi: Here's some late-breaking news. Artist Jeff Zapata will be at the upcoming Philly Non-Sports Card Show. Jeff will be set up as an artist and will also represent Topps. Jeff's brother Michael Zapata will also be on-hand. Michael has created art for Topps' Terminator Salvation and MLB sketch cards. Also, some bad news....Artist Chris Henderson is unable to make the show. And finally, for all those serious card collectors out-there, we've learned that two long-time card dealers will be making the trek to Philly. David Festburg will be exhibiting as a retailer. David is a long-time card dealer and has not exhibited at a non-sport show in six years. Also, Jack Byrd will be set-up as well. Jack is a dealer of vintage cards for many years and has fantastic material for sale. |

Wow, great news, when I got seriously back into the hobby about 20 years ago, I went to Jack Byrd's shop in Maryland and I got some 1960's Topps Batman display boxes from him that were in incredible condition, and these are still in my collection today. It will be good to see him set up at the show.

I'd really like to be at the show, but it's looking like I won't be able to make it this time around.
I hope the rest of you find everything your looking for at a bargain! |

How right you are Teddy! And Tommy can polish off his own 18" and anybody else's leftovers! Hey, if anybody wants us to bring one up for them Friday night from Jim's, just let us know in advance! We'll be arriving in Allentown about 7:15 to 7:30. Staying at the Holiday Inn downtown A'town. Have a blessed day..............Tony |

Lately it seems harder and harder for me to actually get to the show *sigh*. It doesn't look like I'll be making the trek at all this fall. The weekend for us is Cub-o-ree so both of my scouts will be engaged all day Saturday. Come Sunday it's Children's Sabbath at church so Evan is singing at TWO different services (8:30am and 10:45) and then Alex has to be picked up from camping in the afternoon.
So I need a favor. Someone has to take care of my husband - remind him to eat, bring him shiny cards to play with and otherwise keep him entertained |

Unfortunately, I can't make the Card Talk breakfast on Sunday, but will be there on Saturday. I'm really looking forward to it since I missed the show this spring.

Here is another promo that will be given away exclusively at the Philly Show on October 10 + 11 in Allentown, PA. This one is courtesy of iCardz and is a America at War Band of Brothers Series I promo, numbered PH1. It goes along with the Chicagoland we gave away at the Chicago show several weeks ago, numbered CH1.
By the way, for those keeping score, I've been adding these promos to a special Philly page on the NSU website here |

Versicolor Productions printed these cards. They are a couple of the best cards we've ever printed. They were printed on Satin stock and have a special spot finish that the scan doesn't do justice. Make sure you get your hands on these, they are limited to only 500! |
