I'm not going to be around tomorrow morning so I wanted to post tonight. Here's another card that will be given away at the Non-Sport Update Card Talk Collector Event. Again, I don't know how many will show up so I might not have enough of this one for everyone. This one is priceless, as many astute collectors now know...

you know, i was at a Memorabilia show several years ago- before i collected cards. i just happened to be in the London when this was going on. i ended up extending my trip and got a ride to Milton Keynes just to meet James Marsters. one of you excellent folks running a booth gave me a pass to meet him (as i didn't know i needed one at the time). if you are reading this and remember giving a pass to a stupid American, thank you!!!!

It may just be that the Organisers are just waiting to see what is the best time for the Guest Artists before offering us a specific time. At least they have offered us a space, which is more than the previous organisers.

Trouble is without an actual time an offer of space is no good (I note that the meeting is no longer mentioned on the front page of the web-site) and it is only 11 days away!!!

Here's the reply from the MCM Admin, posted in the Non-Sport Update Card Talk Collector Event thread:

I am recording a short episode of the podcast this week looking forward to the show and, if I get details before I put it online, I will include them as a 'stop press' - if Harris gets details before he leaves for the New York Show (from which he is flying directly to the UK for Memorabilia) I know he will post here and if either of us hears anything after he leaves I'll make sure it's posted here.

Maybe, as they are struggling to allocate space and time due to some parties not giving information, Harris should tell them what time we want the meeting and let the organisers work around us

Do you think the organisers have got the wrong end of the stick with that post mentioning "stage area"? Sounds like they think we're wanting to use the area set aside for the Q&A events.

Yes, that is the plan. The only area that they have to offer is the stage area. And that's what we had planned to use, even though this won't be a typical event where a Doctor Who star takes Q&A from the crowd.

I think the pub idea is sounding better and better. If we can't get something wrapped up with the Memorabilia folks by the end of the week (when I leave) that we may go to that.

If we are going to be using the same area as the guest talks it is highly unlikely we will be offered a premium slot such as 15:00 on Saturday.

More likely it will be at the quiet times probably either very early 10;00 or very late 16;00 and more likely on Sunday than Saturday.
