It's too early for me to know yet.It will depend on the quality of guest signers (hopefully better than the April show was) so I won't make up my mind until the week before the show.

Possibly not...tomorrow I should be spending UK£270 getting General Tom Stafford to autograph my astronaut book at Autographica which effectively makes other shows less likely

Yes I saw there was an Autographica on today and tomorrow.I did think about going until I went on the website and saw how much people were charging to sign Shake Head .

I went to the first one they held in the midlands a few years ago and it was really good with most guests including a number of Soviet cosmonauts charging between £10 and £20 and signing your own item for less or free if you bought their photos as well.

Sadly everyone now appears to have jumped on the bandwagon and those days have gone and won't return until collectors stop coming because they can no longer justify the expense.

and yet it still makes much more financial sense to go to this rather than Spacefest ( you have to factor in flying to San Diego, staying there, paying a minimum US%50.00 per day and then paying the $200 per signature )

Oh yes the early days of the sweltering hotel in Northampton was fun...funnily enough those shows were an eclectic mix of spacemen/actors/glamour and it was only relatively recently ( when they went in with Showmasters ) that it has become more rarified and sometime more expensive....GBP£ 10 for the autograph of a WWII fighter pilot or £10-20 for a Bond acter ( and an ex-Miss World in Eva Reuber-Staier ! )or Willy Wonka actor's signature is still not bad.

The problem as always is the cost of the astronauts signatures ( £50 minimum, £95-300 for an Apollo ) and to put it baldly the Mercury/Gemini/Apollo astronauts have seen the somewhat ludicrous aftermarket prices for signatures they gave away free in the past. They are also all around 80years of age.

Anyway after today it is looking more likely that we will get to Memorabilia for the Saturday
