Hi Boldly:

Unfortunately, we will not have a charity raffle or auction, or schedule of events. I did toy with doing a charity raffle again this year but with JUST finding out that we are definitely a go for space in the stage area, there really wasn't enough time.

Having said all that we won't have, I can tell you what we will have. We will definitely have a raffle for a few items. One of them will be the Batman Archives promo that I mentioned previously. And I have two or three other cool items to raffle -- I'll keep 'em a surprise as I want to make sure I'll definitely have them available. I think you should like them though. Thumb Up

Also, I am putting together a short chat. So if you want to come laugh at the funny American, here's your chance. Big Grin OK, to be fair, you can do that all weekend long.

Harris

PS Ever since that darn Joanna posted above, I want to type "storage area" every time I post instead of "stage area" Mad Red Face Mad

If anyone cannot make it on Saturday, but does manage to get there on Sunday, please do come to the NSU stand anyway - depending on how busy it is, and how busy the Talk on Saturday was, there might still be an opportunity for a more informal and unorganised gathering if there are enough people about. (I'm speaking for myself here)

Thanks for the update.

This prompted me to check train times, and there is a replacement bus service between Northampton and Birmingham International. I could go via Reading, but the earliest that I can get there is 11.10 and that means getting the 7.13 train from Shenfield. Early to bed and early to rise ... excuse me if I'm yawning at the meeting!

IF you do, make sure Harris cannot see you or he'll think he's being boring. He WON'T be boring of course, oh no, not at all, not one jot of boringness about HArris's talk, no.

I'LL be boring during my bit, mind you, so if you want to yawn whilst I'm yakking on about listener demographics, market share, target audiences and average click rates, then please feel free... Big Grin

Hammer, according to the TFL website, the Metropolitan line closure is only between Uxbridge and Wembley so if you're coming in from Essex you should still be able to get to Euston Square and walk round to Euston if you pick up the Metro line from Aldgate OR Liverpool Street (the Circle line IS down but this isn't, apparently, affecting the Metropolital line service that runs on the same tracks)...

JTH - want to be interviewed? I think my core demographic would be interested in any blue sky thinking you might be able to share... Big Grin

Hi All:

Just wanted to make note that for all of you Sunday show goers, please stop by at our table. We should have a little something for you as well. And it's not just Paul's wisdom, though that in itself is probably worth the price of admission!

Harris

Wish me luck - I'm meeting Harris for record shopping tomorrow afternoon... (I tell you, it's NOT the exchange rate that causes the price changes from year to year, it's the increasing cost of the ever more obscure 80's electronica Harris collects... Eek Big Grin )
