Edward James Olmos did sign but to get the card you had to buy 6 cases .

Yeah that or you had to fork out $300 or more to get it, like I did Eek

The only autos missing I see are Tory, who has been mentioned above. Brother Cavill, the only cylon yet to have signed. And finally Hotdog (Played by Olmos' real life son.) He's been in the show from the beginning and they did recently make an action figure of him, so I'd like to see his auto in the set.
They're the only 3 I can think of remaining. Hopefully they get them for the season 4 set as that could very well be the last one.
I'm hoping for some of the signers from the earlier seasons to resign, like Tyrol, Cally, D'anna Biers, Gaeta etc. They've only signed once and their auto's are hard to find now. I started collecting this set only after season 2 was released so I have heaps of auto's to go.

quote:
Thus far I've opened 4 boxes of BGS3 from 2 different sources and I find it kind of interesting that I pulled 3 out of the 6 autograph cards labeled limited. I didn't get the James Callis, Jamie Bamber or Bill Duke, but caught the McDonnell and Forbes, and got 2 Sheppards.

I also have 2 of the dual costume cards for Balter and #6, so I'm thinking that either I beat the odds big time or these cards were distributed unevenly. Anybody else see any patterns?

Would have liked to see Lawless and Olamos sign, but it is a super product.

I don't think the "limited" auto's are really that limited. I was only missing the Mary Mcdonnell auto from my case, but got all the other limited ones. Others had duplicates of the limited auto's in their case. I really don't know the numbers of how many cards each person signed, but I would say the non-limited signers must have signed 500 cards each. There were only 500 cases made, I got 2 Grace Park's in my case, others got 2 Katee Sackhoff's. The limited cards may have been reduced to 400 or so, but they don't seem to be particulary limited imo.

I do however think this is a good thing because it allows a lot of people to complete the set and collect all the auto's that they needed.

She signed for Smallville season 5 if you're not fussed about the set from which the auto comes.

Received my 2 boxes yesterday & have to say that although I really like the cards I'm somewhat disappointed with the level of duplication I pulled.

Box 1 - 3872

Costume: CC32 - William Adama
Autos: Tahmoh Penikett - Captain Karl Agathon, Jamie Bamber - Captain Lee "Apollo" Adama
Film Clip: F2 - Saul Tigh
Love In War: L3 - Kara & Lee, L4 - William & Carolanne
Significant Seven: SS1 - Brother Cavil, SS6 - Number Six, SS7 - Sharon Valerii

Box 2 - 4808

Costume: CC38 - Samuel Anders
Autos: Tahmoh Penikett - Captain Karl Agathon*, Michelle Forbes - Admiral Helena Cain
Film Clip: F2 - saul Tigh*
Lovie In War: L3*, L4*
Significant Seven: SS5 - Aaron Doral, SS6*, SS7*

6 duplicates from 2 boxes is about the worst luck I can remember having, although having checked out the other box breakdowns & seeing that the Jamie Bamber Auto (Pulled in the 1st packet opened) seems to be about the hardest to get does make up for it a little.

I made 3 complete base sets with a number of extra singles with 1 damaged base card but it was a spare duplicate so not too bothered.

This was a great case. Overall I made 20 Base sets, with only 4 cards short of a 21st set, then only about 50 spares left, so I think it was an excellent idea to drop the number of packs from 40 to 24, far less base cards remaining over.
I made 5 sets of Significant 7 with only one SS3 spare, 2 full sets of Love in War with one dupe each of L3 - L7. There was one full set of the Film Gallery cards with 3 duplicates left over of Baltar, Tigh and Agathon.

With the costumes I was one short, the other Six & Balter, but only had one duplicate of CC38 Anders

I was only the Mary McDonnell auto short out of all of them and have since purchased this for a good price (US$31). I had dupes of only 4 autos, Alisen Down, Christian Tessier, Tahomoh Penikett and Grace Park.

So in the end I was only 3 cards short of a master set of pack pulled cards (1 auto, 1 costume, 1 shelter poster). That really makes buying a case worthwhile when you can get so many of the cards in the set all at once like that. Hats off to Rittenhouse for producing such a fine set, I thouroughly enjoyed breaking this case, if there is a season 4 I might just have to get a case of the, although that could be sometime yetSmile

I got my two boxes today, and I am pretty happy with them:

Box #0355
L4,5
SS1,2,3
F9
Costume: Helo
Auto: Alisen Down, Grace Park

Box #5312
L7,8
SS1,6,7
F8
CC40
Shelter Poster S7: 355/400
Auto: Tiffany Lyndall-Knight, Katee Sackhoff

Overall, I am very happy to get the Starbuck auto, as it was the last major cast member auto that I needed (Besides the expensive Olmos auto). The other three are nice, but I have the earlier Park auto and was hoping for the Simon or Tigh autos because I am trying for the entire run of autos from the Cylon actors. I loved the SS set, and am happy to only be two away from a set of that, with only one duplicate. The Shelter Poster card was awesome as well...

Overall, another great set from Rittenhouse! Thumb Up

Pretty fun break. I got four limited autos (1 dupe) and some great common autos. I'm glad I didn't get any doubles there. I really like the 24 pack boxes. With the same amount of inserts, it just feels like a more worthwhile box to break. My only minor complaint (very very minor) would be the small base set. Would have loved 72 or even 81 base cards (I love the design!) Thanks for a great product Rittenhouse!
