Got my case yesterday.
All I can say is its a good thing Lost was coming out at the same time- only had enough for 1 case of this so I could get 2 cases of Lost.

Got pretty much what I expected.

1 base set in each box.
No full sets of inserts(1 short for Artifex, 7 for Animated Expanded Universe, 3 for Comics).
6 sketches- did get a Martineck.
24 autos...
A13
A16
A19
A20
A21(x2)
A22(x2)
A23
A24
A25
A26
A28
A29
A31(x2)
A33(x2)
A34
A35
A36
A38
A41
A42

From these autos-
1 very limited- A16 Montalban
5 limiteds- A13 Bobby Clark
A23 William Windom
A26 Michael Ansara
A34 Joanne Linville
A36 Kathryn Hays

No Collins
No Nimoy
No Takei
No Goodwin
No Barrett
No Craig
No Koenig
No Whitney
No Meriwether
No Woodville

Don't even care about asking Rittenhouse about anything. Not worth it plus I already got something for the bad cases of Enterprise 4 and Battlestar Galactica Premier Edition I opened. Just a re-occuring trend with their cases. It's either hit or miss and I seem to miss all the time.
Really considering not breaking anymore of their product and just buying Archive boxes or master sets of that auction site.

Hope your cases/boxes are better.

Thanks,
Roswellian.

I am also pissed of the case collations from this series.
Opened my first case of the 2 that i bought.
The result is not 1 very limited card and 5 of the limited cards.
So if my second case is the same i will stop buying cases from any rittenhouse product.
I had the same problem last time with the Enterprise season 4 case i had with zero very limited cards.

Will post on monday my 2 case findings.

I opened 5 boxes, and got the requisite number of Comic cards, AS cards, and Artifex. Of these, I only had 2 duplicates: CZ7 and GK16. Not too bad!

10 Different autos:
A12 ltd
A13 ltd
A19
A20
A22
A24
A28
A29
A35
A39 v. ltd

And, in 5 boxes, I got
4 Sketches!!!
-The Alternative Factor by Carroney
-Tomorrow is Yesterday, by Miller
-The Return of the Archons by Krieger
and
-Space Seed by Martineck!

Not bad, overall! Thanks, Lynne!

The City on the Edge of Forever by Steven Miller

Case topper sketch: Tricorder

Overall, Rittenhouse did a nice job with this one. However, you would think that with 30 autographs you might not get so many duplicates, let alone 2 different Triplcates. Still not completely sold on the animated format of the auto cards, but the addition of a regular photo on the back was a nice touch.

It is also interesting that the sketches are all in a row on the online checklist.

Got 1 box of this set:

#5731/7200

1 base set
Artifex Card: CZ3 (Amok Time)
Expanded Universe: # 9 (Chekov), 25 (Mirror Spock), 34 (Mugato)
Comic Book Cards: GK 6, 16, 33, 44, 51, 61
Autos: A19 BarBara Luna (Marlena Moreau) Smile
A37 Kate Woodville (Natira) limited Smile
No Sketch Card

I am a little bit disappointed that I did not get a sketch card, but for that I got good autos.
I have to say that I love this set. The base set cards are so nice and lovely done. The chase cards are also very cool (especially the Artifex Cards) and John Czop has done a great job !!!
Thumb Up

I'm awaiting delivery of 6 boxes so I'm hoping for at least 3 sketches.
I also had dreams of pulling both a Montalban and a Collins auto but from the previous breakdowns it would appear there in only 1 V.Ltd per case. Frown

I can still hope for one though.

Mine will be going in the "favorite sketch card thread".

You ought to ask the person who's bought 22 of the cards off ebay to post his/her collection! There are some truly fabulous ones out there!

No joke - I've been tracking ebay auctions and while I'm certain to have missed a few, I've seen one bidder win 22 via auction or buy-it-now. He/she must have some extra cash and REALLY like the cards. I can't blame him/her as I wouldn't mind having more Big Grin
