Brought a box at Philly this weekend, here are the results:

24 packs per box, 6 cards per pack.

One 72 card set, with 62 out of 72 of a second set. Inserts were as follows:

9 card puzzle "New Moon" 1 in 7 packs - T1, T8, and T9.

6 card puzzle "The Wolfpack" 1 in 11 packs - WP2,WP3, and WP4.

6 card set "The Volturi Coven" 1 in 11 packs - VO5 and VO6.

3 card set "Seeing Alice" 1 in 23 packs - SE1.

1 card "Reckless" 1 in 104 packs - CL-1.

I beat the odds by getting an extra Wolfpack puzzle card and the "Reckless" insert. The base set is made up of 27 character cards, 44 story cards, and 1 checklist. I did notice what appears to an error, cards # 52 and # 54 have the same fronts and title, "Breaking Up". The back has the same title and picture, and the first sentance is the same, but the card dialog is different. See scan below:

According to the checklist, card # 54 should be titled "Who's Afraid".

The wrapper states that you can find out how to obtain a binder at www.necaonline.com, but when I checked today there was no information regarding this offer.

Good looking cards, but there's none of those nice chase cards like autographs...or even movie worn memorabilia like on last years Twilight release. I don't think I'll be buying any of these cards this time around.

I think these are just starting to show up in general release. There wasn't much on that auction site last time I looked.

Batman,

If you dont mind answering, What did the box cost? Id guess around $40 but with only 1 base set and a few inserts its pricey.

Broke down a 36 pack gravity feed retail box...

2 base sets
New Moon Puzzle T1, T2, T7, T8, T9
Wolf Pack Puzzle WP1, WP2, WP3, WP4
Volturi Coven Foils VO2, VO3, VO4, VO5
Seeing Alice SE1, SE2
Retail exclusive "Goodbye" T-1x2 (yes, same number as the puzzle set)

Nice set all around. I suspect some help from the artistic end of Inkworks as this looks VERY much like an Inkworks product.

Well I didn't keep track of the chase card breakdown individually, but I've opened a number of the Hot Topic 24 pack retail boxes and their ratios all break down the same:

1 base set
3 New Moon Puzzle Cards
2 Wolf Pack Puzzle Cards
2 Volturi Cards
1 Seeing Alice Cards
1 HT-1 Temptations Exclusive Card
1 CL-1 Reckless Card in every 4 boxes or so

There were a couple of boxes that had 2 Seeing Alice Cards and 3 Wolf Pack Cards as well. An average of 9 chase cards/box with a few that had upto 12 with the WP, SE & CL-1 cards.

Sorry it's not as detailed of a breakdown as we're used to seeing but I didn't think to keep track of each box because I didn't know if there'd be interest in it on here.

How many boxes did I open you may ask? More than 10 is all I'll say lol

Picked up 2 boxes from Ed at the local comic show. Only opened 1 so far. Here are the results. Needless to say, I was pretty geeked about the CL-1 pull.

I haven't sorted the base sets yet, but I will.
New Moon Puzzle T6, T7, T8, T9
Wolf Pack Puzzle WP6
Volturi Coven Foils VO1, VO2
Seeing Alice SE1
CL-1 "Reckless" card x1
