(Other than being printed on inferior card stock I can't see anything special about these at all. Maybe someone can tell me what i'm missing.)

First edition chase card FE1
Chase puzzle CC7
Parallel card 13

3.Gavin Hunt Sketch
Sherlock Holmes Card 22 (1 per case apparently)

I got my 2 packs today plus the additional promos.

Both had a set of 27.
1 had a sketch card by Tim Dowler and the other a magazine relic card (PM1).

Both had the C1 card.
Puzzle cards CC2, CC3.

The other 2 cards in both packs looked the same as the base cards.

Here's my case breakdown.

10 packs, 2 extra base sets and these bonus cards:
Promos - Civil War P1-B, War of the Worlds Preview Card, Circus of Horrors P1
The 10 card puzzle chase set (CC1-CC10)
Case toppers CT2, CT3

I got a nice variety of things from the packes---

16 different parallel cards...(like Zero, I'm not sure what makes them
parallel as nothing is noticeable. I had heard that the parallels were
supposed to be glow-in-the-dark but mine do not.)
2 each of Chase cards C1, C2, C3
The 10 card puzzle chase card set CC1-CC10 (#10 glows)
Case toppers CT1(which glows), CT2, CT4
2 of the Pearson's Magazine First Edition cards #FE1
Sherlock Holmes and Victorian Martians cards 21, 21, 22

A Leaf Prop from Jeff Wayne's 2012 stage show #LP1
A Horsell Common Sand Relic Card #HC1
3 Pearson's Magazine Relic Cards #PM1-- 1 regular, 1 die-cut with a nice cover piece,
and an incredible fold-out with the title! Thumb Up

6 great sketch cards...

Robert Hack, Matt Erkhart, Jason Godwin

John Monserrat, Ted Woods, Huy Truong

Very nice set, hopefully we can get this parallel thing sorted out Smile

That Huy Truong card is exceptionally creepy.

Nice hack stuff as well.

Just opened my pack of War of the Worlds.

I got the 27 card set which I really like. The first 18 cards tell the story through artist impressions and info on the backs. The final 9 cards are illustrations from the 1906 book drawn by Henrique Alvim Correa which also make up a large picture on the backs.

I got a nice color sketch by Clinton Yeager.

I also got 2 chase cards which I think were supposed to be glow in the dark variants of the base set but mine do not glow.

A great set for anyone intrested in this book.

If the 2 variants you were got were base cards then they are not supposed to glow...they were printed on a different, thinner
card stock than the regular base cards. These are the parallel cards and are kind of hard to tell apart from the regulars.
The only variants that glowed were a couple chase cards and 2 of the case toppers. Also, any of the glow variants were in a soft sleeve in the pack.
