No, I hardly sell anything on eBay. I will seal them up securely and put them away, like I do with my other cards.

We are in the process of sorting the basic cards into sets - patient job. Wink But we are finding that some cards are very much in short supply. The most drastic problem is with cards 13 and 67!!! Eek - while number 72 is in short supply too. In fact cards 13 and 67 are so rare, every time we find one we are putting them into sleeves and toploaders to protect them from damage, while we sort the other cards. You would think that over 40 boxes this would sort itself out, but no these cards are in scarce in box after box. Why would Cards Inc. issue boxes with some cards being soooooooo scarce?

Has anybody else had this problem? Confused

Yes, everybody had this problem, I'm afraid. Those two cards were short-printed. This was Cards Inc's first serious foray into trading cards and they had a problem with the collation. Subsequent releases have sorted the problem.

I'm going to make the same general (and polite) comment that I made in the Women of Bond thread: if people have a question arising from the opening of a set, whatever it may be, could you please post it in the General Discussion area? The Breakdown area is specifically for box breakdowns, and it's difficult for anyone to actually locate those breakdowns if they have to wade through a ton of discussion.

Many Thanks.

By way of a polite reply, it is very difficult sometimes knowing where to post certain things. I posted this here because I felt that this point related directly to a box breakdown. Surely, when cards are short in boxes of cards this is important to others who may break boxes down and make sets from them. I guess because I am not as experienced as other collectors I find it difficult to follow the complicated rules. Confused

Yes, this is a fair point, and you've made it succinctly. I think in this case the information is relevant, and that's why I answered your question BEFORE I made the point... Big Grin

There is a note at the top of the Breakdown thread from Harris setting out the uses for this section, which I would ask everyone to read before they post. If you are confused by any aspect of the site, or what topics would be best suited to which section, please feel free to ask, I'm sure there will be plenty of people willing to answer your question.

The Cards Inc. web site says:

"THESE AUTHENTIC ORIGINAL HAND SIGNED CARDS ARE AUTOGRAPHED BY THE CREATORS AND VOICE ARTISTS OF THUNDERBIRDS AND INSERTED INTO PACKETS AT THE RATIO OF 1 IN 72 PACKS
EACH ARTIST HAS SIGNED 800 CARDS IN TOTAL WITH SYLVIA ANDERSON SIGNING ONLY 600"

This clearly shows that the Sylvia Anderson auto is the rarest card. The Matt Zimmeran auto could only be more rare if a number of them had been destroyed/lost since production etc.

Do you have different info from the cards Inc web-site? I've always thought that they would have the right information.
