Got this one out of a box today.

Can't remember the character, but it's by Joe Sinnott. At first I wasn't overly keen on keeping it (let alone getting it) but it must be pretty special if he only did 49 and people are already asking if I want to trade it, within hours of uploading it my gallery Smile

Joe Sinnott was the long time inker on Fantastic Four, so he is quite well known to readers of the comics. The character is Mr. Fantastic, leader of the Fantastic Four, also known as Reed Richards. That's great card, well done! Thumb Up

How odd you pulled a sketch of Mr. Fantastic out a box of FANTASTIC FOUR Archives, yet you have no idea who the character is.

That would be like if I pulled a Batman sketch from the BATMAN Archives set, and had no idea who the sketch was of.

It's totally zany!

I keep buying the odd box, maybe in the hopes I'll get another Sinnott Wink

Got this one in my box yesterday and it seems to be unsigned I thought the character may be Phoenix, because of the red hair, but I could be wrong.

I know it's a breakdown thread but I only opened the one pack, as I don't need any inserts I didn't open the rest Smile

Star Mystic...... Open the rest of the box as there may be another sketch in there...... There was your normal sketch at one per box but like one in every like 7 cases you had a box with 2 sketches in it, a normal Sketch and a Super rare Sketch Smile
Hopes this helps Smile

The X on her uniform makes me think it is Phoenix/Jean Grey.

I also wondered about that "X" thinking it may have been an artists mark, like how Erik Maell signs his cards. Not an actual signature.

I guess the style isn't familiar to anyone, similar to someone? I thought Brian Kong but with the amount of artists there were it could be anyone, someone I've not heard of.

Oh well. Knowing the character is helpful Thumb Up

Edit: @Kadran - Really? That's interesting to know. I've also got extra packs floating around from a previous box Smile
That's a good reason to open them all.
