It's been a long time since I broke down and got a case but this was so good I had to. Pulled 20 sketches, all of them quality cards, breakdown on chase sets was almost perfect!

The last two card set was an AP that Carolyn Edwards did for me, but I had to keep it under wraps until the set was released. Nice job, Breygent! Smile Thumb Up

Here is Carl's case....

While he had a total of 12 autographs - 1 Jusko, 1 Knoph with a legible sig, 2 Ornelas (1red/1blk), 3 Di Angelis (2blk/1red) and 5 Cultons including a black version...yup, 12 autos and NOT a set to be had.

and now the sketches...

Adam Cleveland Puzzle

Dennis Crisostomo and David Hartigan

Rainier Lagunsad and Rich Molinelli

Jason Keith Phillips x 2

Rhi Owens and Pablo Diaz

Bruce Gerlach and Banky Farano

Buddy Prince and Darren Chandler

Potratz/Hai and Dan Borgonos

Bianca Thompson and Veronica O'Connell

Judging by the case breaks so far the only problem appears to be with the autograph insertion rate which is all over the place.

The range of numbers goes from three to twelve with no apparent pattern by location. That case with twelve is really bad and you have my sympathies Carl.Hopefully your luck will change soon.

Third Case

Inserts
Best of Jusko (3 cards): 5 complete sets
3D Lenticular (15 cards): 4 complete sets, 1 extra (one box had 5 in it)
Puzzle (9 cards): 3 complete sets, 33 extras

Autos
Arban Ornelas (black ink) x2
Sascha Knopf (red ink) x4
Greg Hildebrandt (black ink) x2
Joe Jusko (red ink)

Sketches

2 Card Puzzle by Juan Fontanez

J.D. Seeber, Butch Mapa, Charles Hall
Dan Borgonos, Gabe Farber, Chip Skelton
Mark McKenna, Sean Pence, Kevin Meinert

Amber Shelton, Dave Beaty, Arie Monroe
Gabe Farber, Adam Cleveland, Bennett Pisek
Mike Lilly, Rhiannon Owens, Potratz/Hai

And this was unexpected:

(I believe the artist is Rusty Gilligan)
Was this a mistake, or were there a few SDCC sketches seeded in the boxes?

Someone missed that sketch as should have been in the comic con run plus it came in late so that is why it was missed and put into the run.

Autographs were done by hand and we tried to insure numbers were correct as that case with 12 has to be a rare and total mistake. These were counted here before being sent to the plant for collation but remember humans hand collate these so mistakes can happen. If not happy a simple email to me would work as we try to please and correct any mistakes.

Tom

this is a really beautiful set, and i like the new box format. what makes it especially nice is the inclusion of two hits so makes it worthwhile and you don't have to buy a lot of premium packs to complete a base set.

my box included:
- 1 72-card base set
- 4 lenticular cards: VL1, VL2, VL14 and VL15
- 1 Best of Jusko card: VJ2
- 4 puzzle pieces: VP1, VP2, VP3 and VP4
- 2 sketch cards: a 2-piece puzzle by Jerome DABOS
