I sympathise, I never got an auto card in any of the Angel Season 1 boxes I bought.

Better luck with the Angel Season 2 - 2 boxes and 2 autos.

I'm not sure what the ratio for autos to boxes for Angel Season 1 is, but I've read that Angel Season 2 is 8 out of the 10 boxes in a case and of course Season 3 was every box.

if memory serves me in an unopened case of Angel 1 you would get approx three autos. With Season 2 it was approx seven autos per case which was excellent.

Well I strolled into a sportcard shop I've never been in before to take a quick look and as expected there was just sportscards, yu-gi-oh, pokemon and magic cards EXCEPT for one dust coated box of Angel season 1 almost hidden behind some old baseball that hadn't moved. It had the astonishing price of just $39.99 (and that's Canadian $ ) so I broke down and bought it. (after taxes it was $44.79).

Breakdown:

I love LA- LA5
Dark Avenger- DA2, DA3
Autograph- A2 Alexis Denisof

I'm very happy even though I already had all the inserts and the Denisof is the only season 1 auto I already have. So nothing I needed from the box but still a good deal.

I always keep a supply of stimulant handy in case I see a snake--which I also keep handy.

Just got a box of Hercules for a reasonable price from Ebay--got 5 autos from the box, 3 I already had, but got Kevin Smith and Gina Torres, both of which I needed! Plus, the elusive Xena box insert that I needed, so a cool purchase!

The complete Hercules set had 3 autos per box, so that's a really awesome box!

The only reason you got six autos Batman because of my good luck that was present. I once received six autos out of a Rittenhouse Outer Limits box, so you just never know.

MY box of Lexx arrived this morning from CArds Inc and I ust thought I'd share the chase card details - the sets I'll be sorting out later (Jon, I'll send you a full box breakdown later if you like!)

5 artist autograph cards - A1 (which I already had from the packs I bought on Saturday) - 695/1000, A6 - 1011/2000, A7 - 325/2000, A10 - 768/1000, A11 - 749/1000
So, overall, rather good! No cast autograph, but I did get 1 extra of the artist cards and 1 extra foil! Not bad for £20!

Does anyone know if Cards Inc are still doing the Lexx special offer? I saw it in last week's newsletter and then promptly forgot to order a box.

Although not boxes, I bought 2 packs of Angel 4 today and pulled an A32 Adrienne Wilkinson (Flapper) auto (no Faith, though ) For reference anyone buying from FP on New Oxford Street, do not buy from the back left box as it now has no auto in it

Anything under $80 is a decent price for a LOTR:TTT hobby box... Haven't looked for them recently, but I imagine they're in the $100 range on ebay.
