I saw a play Alan Rickman did in NYC years ago and bought the Sorcerer's Stone DVD (it had just been released) on impulse for him to sign afterwards. I better put that thing in plastic if he's not signing HP stuff anymore.

I envy you guys. I wish I had the money to buy cases. I've only bought a few starter-boxes, as my newphew wanted someone to trade with. That metal Snape box-topper card looks awesome. Same with the auto and prop cards. We didn't get any of those in our packs.

and

Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy Dual Auto Redemption!!!

Yes, after close to 200 boxes of Potter products
this is the 1st one of the main 3 kids I have pulled. Saved the case, as, while we got 4 props, they were all pretty bland pieces. Getting the same costume multiple times in the last couple releases is getting old fast too. But still a relatively fun time.

i asked this on another thread and also asked this of someone on auction site selling a redemption card. the auction seller said the redemption for the HP HBP autos had a claim-by date printed on back of July 1, 2010, but claimed to have contacted Artbox who said they still have cards to be redeemed. might be worth trying to contact Artbox directly. i was (maybe still am) interested in picking up some of the HBP (non-update) boxes myself.

I really like these cards the foil stamping on the front is a nice touch and the costume and prop cards are really nice. Definitely pleased with my pulls. While I wouldn't have been upset had I gotten one of the top three autos, I was hoping for the Luna and Tonks. The only other one I wanted and didn't get was Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix). Maybe I can find one on e-bay...

well, the case cluster strikes again. last summer i bought a case of this that yielded the results above. a few months later i decided to go to mid-ohio con so i sold it and some other items off to raise capital for the trip. i regretted soon afterward. as a result, i found a case of this available and decided to re-add this set to my collection. in terms of the premiums (autos, props, costumes and film cells), it was the exact same case, down to the double hagrid costume card. can't say i'm dissapointed because my autos are solid and the costumes and props are really nice.

now i'll have to cross my fingers and hope the customer service rep at artbox was correct when she told me that they are still honoring these redemptions... Smile

Treated myself to two boxes of this off of ebay as an early birthday gift to myself. Smile I wasn't expecting much, given that almost all the autos are unredeemable redemptions these days, but I was hoping for at least a cool costume or prop card. Just opened the second box today, so here's the breakdown...

Box 1:
1 complete base set
Foil cards: R2, R4, R5, R6, R7, R8
Box topper BT4
Film card CFC1 (pic is of the movie's WB logo)
Autograph Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Box 2:
2 complete base sets
Foil cards: R2, R3, R4, R7
Box topper BT4 *grumble*
Film card CFC8 (pic is of young Tom Riddle)
Autograph Jessie Cave as Lavender Brown

Can't believe I scored two autographs, and neither were redemption cards. Clap
