This set I was REALLY looking forward to and I am pleased with the cards and the quotes. this was the largest (in box count) order I have ever purchased for 1 title. I normally only buy 2, maybe 3 boxes. This time I went for 4 US and 2 International boxes.

So whilst this is a great set, with only 1 Starfleet's Finest card, only 1 Limited Auto, and 4 of the 12 autos duplicates. I think I'll go back to how I was purchasing boxes. Just 1 ot 2 boxes amd if the set is important enough an Archive box. Buying 6 boxes just was not worth it.

Boldlygone, this set seems to be getting a reputation for hard to find Bridge autographs and repeat / duplicate boxes. It seems the idea of multiple versions of the same signers card is just not a good idea and makes hard to find autos even harder to find. Please lets not see a repeat of this. It took me four boxes to find 1 Bridge auto, with some case (i'm told) yielding none at all. Also I have had a duplicate box (see above) so you are not the first on this score, but I have never seen duplicates this bad before.

Bought 6 packs from an open box from my comic shop and got the James Doohan auto cards plus 3 other chase cards (Animated ST, Comic covers and Final Frontier).

This is (probably) the same box from which I got the Patrick Horgan auto last week.

I'm not jealous. OK, maybe a little bit. I know you didn't pull this box yourself, based on one of your other posts. It still is exciting to have one in your hands.

I hope one day to pull an archive box.

Yes this is a marked Archive box that I bought via a UK Auctione. However i have been lucky enough to pull an unmarked Archive once. It was, and still is, my greatest moment as a card collector. It was a Farscape Season 4 box that I bought at the MK Collectormania last year. I just bought the one box froma pile on a table.

I wish someone had been with me with a camera when i opened the box and this bright orange sticker shone in my face.

Since then I have been hooked on Archive boxes and I try to get one for each RA set I decide to collect.
I wish Inkworks would do Archives, Especiaully for the Alias Season 3 out at Christmas
