Not bad boxes.I too got a pack pulled vintage connery and it felt sweeter than a nonlimited auto. I just hope they dont get him to sign for the upcoming 00 series or its imminent bankruptcy for me.

PS master set arrived and its well sweet. saves me alot of time i just dont have, to put the set together.

Think its unlikely that Connery will ever sign for something like this. The best chance is a cut signature card. I paid close to £100 for a Connery auto on an 8x10 from the stall where Ingrid Pitt sits at the NEC several years ago. It came from a charity auction he had donated too but I dont think he signs a lot. The next best shot is someone like Timothy Dalton who's lives in the UK (Derbyshire) and may agree to something like this.

There are several 'big names' i can think of who might sign, but i guess its a balance of paying the signers what they're worth and the market that exists for the cards. I agree that connery is out of the ball park but big names like Dalton, Rigg, Blackman, Teri Hatcher, Grace Jones, Robbie Coltrane or fellow scot Robert Carlyle may be worth approaching. Some like Honor Blackman, Alan Cumming and Famke Janssen have already signed for other sets so may be a good bet. Hopefully ursula andress signs the ones she was rumoured to have been sent. The autographs have been well received and even ones perceived to be fillers have been nice cards. I personally am just happy that the bond sets by Rittenhouse have been of such a standard to get me really enthusiastic about collecting again.

Just what were the odds for the Roger Moore A29 Auto card?

In a moment of weakness I bought another box of The Quotable Bond (#0495/8000 and I pulled the A29 again. Dance

That's two in 2 boxes. What are the odds???

Congratulations Boldlygone!!!!

From what what I have heard the odds of finding a Roger Moore card are about 1 in every 3 cases (1:36 boxes).
