Overall Impressions...
A very nice set indeed. The lenticular base set has a backing on it (similar to the recent Batman Archives lenticular chase sets), so you can see the movement in a 9-pocket page. There are a lot of hits in each box which does it very enjoyable to open.

A worthy addition to RA's Bond sets.

I found a couple of oddities in my first case break and thought I’d pose a couple of questions to get things cleared up.

1.) Some of the 40th Anniv autos that I pulled do not have the words “CONGRATULATIONS” printed in red at the top. Is that an error or do all of the cards listed below (and maybe others) have that word omitted?
A113 – Stark
A114 – Bush
A115 – Newton
A117 – Calder
A118 – Carlyle

2.) The checklist states that the SC04 Relic is a Solange piece and the SC05 Relic card is a Gettler piece. I pulled a SC04 w/a Gettler piece and I pulled an SC05 w/a Carlos piece (which, on the checklist, is noted as an SC06). Soooo…is the SC06 a Solange piece or has the SC06 been eliminated from this set?

Any clarification that can be provided would be much appreciated…Thanks in advance!

I "confirmed" some of the numbers from auctions that said they were such-and-such numbers in the text, but I didn't see scans of the card backs. There were quite a few numbering changes for Batman Archives, so I'll watch these some more.

UPDATE: Rittenhouse updated their web checklist, and it now matches the "oddities" noted by THX2112. It looks like there wasn't an SC06 or any other Solange single costume.

Here's my two-box breakdown:

Box: 24 packs of 4 cards, 9000 numbered boxes. Expect 1.20 base sets of 63 cards if collation were perfect.

BOX 3005

Base cards (63): 1 complete set, 12 extras
Bond Villains (22, 1:9 packs): F51 F61 F62
Bond Allies (17, 1:12 packs): BA24 BA36
Bond Girls (24, 1:8 packs): BG49 BG55 BG60
James Bond Lenticulars (6, 1:4 packs): JB1 JB2 JB3 JB3 JB4 JB5 JB6
Costume/Relic Cards (24, 1:12 packs):
.... DC05 (Mr. White's Shirt & Pants, Casino Royale, 1240/1250)
.... TCO8 (James Bond's Shirt, Jacket & Pants, Casino Royale, 0972/1300)
Autograph Cards (47, 1:12 packs):
.... A100 Ludger Pistor as Mendel, Casino Royale (Limited)
.... -- Simon Abkarian as Dimitrios, Casino Royale

BOX 3006

Base cards (63): 1 complete set, 14 extras
Bond Villains (22, 1:9 packs): F45 F63
Bond Allies (17, 1:12 packs): BA24 BA29
Bond Girls (24, 1:8 packs): BG53 BG63 BG66
James Bond Lenticulars (6, 1:4 packs): JB1 JB2 JB3 JB4 JB5 JB6
Costume/Relic Cards (24, 1:12 packs):
.... DC04 (Felix Leiter's Tuxedo Shirt & Jacket, Casino Royale, 0876/1200)
.... TCO3 (James Bond's Undershirt, Shirt & Pants, Casino Royale, 0639/1200)
Autograph Cards (47, 1:12 packs):
.... A107 Jesper Christensen as Mr. White, Casino Royale (Limited)
.... A114 Grand L. Bush as Hawkins, Licence To Kill

Overall I'm happy with my pulls. I like the double and triple costumes. I think it would have been nice if Rittenhouse had of done cards with costumes from more movies. But the costume cards are still nice. My TC07 Bond costume is a variant. Half of the shirt swatch has blood on it. Nice look. I wish I had gotten one more Relic card, but the one I have is really nice looking. The scan doesn't do it justice. The autos are nice. Three out of eight were limited. Full Bleeds always look good. I have a Vesper Lynd case topper costume card coming in the mail. I'll post a scan when I get it. I think Rittenhouse did a better job with the lenticular look with this set than what they did with the Women in Motion set, but not by much. I might get some more boxes down the road.

Opened two boxes yesterday, with the following results:

Box 6751
Autographs - A88, A100
Costume cards - TC03, TC04
Bond Allies - BA25, BA30
Bond Girls - BG52, BG62, BG71
Bond Villains - F48, F54, F57
JB subset - 1 complete set, 2 extras
Base set - 1 complete set, 11 extras

Box 0636
Autographs - A104, Tsai Chin (full bleed)
Costume cards - TC06
Relic cards - RC22
Bond Allies - BA28, BA33
Bond Girls - BG55, BG59, BG60
Bond Villains - F44, F46, F58
JB subset - 1 complete set, 1 extra
Base set - 1 complete set, 11 extras

Overall, I think this is pretty good looking set. I am not a huge fan of lenticular cards, so that aspect of the release was less than appealing. However, the use of the costume cards helps make up for it.

I assume from looking at the box breakdowns, and having not studied the information at RA's website, the triple costumes are actually somewhat easier to get than the single or double costumes. Is this the case? I have also noticed that the triple costumes seem to be more abundant on the auction site than the others.

I will keep trying to pull the Honor Blackman autograph... Congrats to Womble for that nice pull! Thumb Up

Autographs: Serena Gordon (A112) and Sid Haig (A94)

Costume: Felix Leiter (DC04) 0955/1200
Prop: Ice Palace Blanket (RC23) 219/375 featuring a VERY fluffy white swatch.

All in all, I was quite pleased.

Thanks Will, most of the triples costume cards are more common than the others as they have used smaller pieces of material, the single costume cards use really large pieces of material.
