Not sure how much a box costs but I know of a dealer who has a set of autos going for approx £1000. This shows that the pull Raj made wasn't small potatoes ! Big Grin

I just couldn't wait any longer for "Open That Box Day" so I snuck a peek into a hobby box and got the following:

- 0 Base sets (missing 10 cards) + lots of duplicates
- 0 Character Profile cards
- 0 Mini Posters
- 36 Kenner Toys $3 off coupons
- 1 near set of Storyboard art cards (missing 1 card) + lots of duplicates
- 2 Celluloid Action Cards: Batman, Poison Ivy (damaged on top)

- And in the VERY last pack......1 George Clooney autographed card. Wowsers...that just makes up for everything =) My absolute best pull ever!

I bought one box in a comic shop for a cheap price. The owner had a lot of old boxes all for the same cheap price.
To say the truth I'm not interested in this set, but I thought I'll give it a try because of the autograph cards. The chance is very small to pull one, but for the price...
What I didn't know, it seemed as if the box was a retail box Twak <- me Wink

The box had 36 packs all with four base set cards (a few had five) and one storyboard card.

Here's what I got:

-0 base sets! (missing card #7 to complet the first set and missing 11 cards to complete a second set) + some spares
-0 sets of the storyboard cards (missing S5 to complete these) + some spares

All in all very disappointing.

I got also 2 Intro cards, that are not listed on Jeff's site. Confused

I will be putting all cards on my trade list, if anyone is interested.

I'm not sure, but I think all hobby boxes contained 36 packs....while the retail boxes had only 18. But yes, the autographs are tough to pull as the stated odds were 1 in 360 packs.

Opened another hobby box:

- 2 base sets
- 12 profile cards (complete set)
- 7 posters (complete set + extra poison ivy)
- 36 storyboard cards (complete set + extras)
- 2 celluloid action cards (Batman, Bane)

No autographs this time, but I'm only 3 cards away from a mini-master set. Not bad....

Where are you guys finding these boxes? I'd probably buy some if I could find some.

There's a seller on that auction site who has them for $59.99 each.
