Scifi CardsRed Sonja: She Devil (Dynamite Entertainment, 2021)
This is the same format as recent "Ultra Premium" sets from Dynamite: 12 mini boxes to a display "case" and 1 pack with 2 sketches and 1 auto per mini box.
You get one mini-master set per box
18 card base set
12 card black and white set
9 card dual sided puzzle set
Autos number 6, and you get 2 of each per box. Gold ink 'chase' autos apparently exist, I didn't get any.
Now, you get 24 sketches in a case. Here they are, 3 mini boxes at a time:
And, the complete 9 card puzzle:
There is at least 1 promo for the set, I imagine a few more will show up.
My commentary...
Base set is what you'd expect, images of Sonja, and it's very nice. Chase sets too.
I would have preferred more autos rather than 2 sets in a box, but that's just me probably.
Puzzle sketches... Where do I start?
If this "case" had been sold by the pack, it would have been brutal to a lot of people. One pack had 2 puzzle pieces, so 7 packs had a single puzzle piece. Something needs to be done, either not have puzzles at all or put all of them in a pack, though that would be tough with 9 panel puzzles. I lean toward not having them at all.
Fun set.

wolfieHave to agree on the puzzle sketch pieces, imagine your sketch pull being somebody's foot.
Great looking promo card, how limited is limited print run?

webjonEd -- nice break, thanks for sharing.
Puzzle sketches are always tough -- I don't think they should break up puzzle pieces in packs unless they stand on their own.
Nice looking set.

hammerHave to agree, no one wants a half/third/quarter or a sketch. Keep to single sketches or rare "bonus" boxes with a puzzle
