Legendary Lovecraft (Monsterwax, 2014)
Got two boxes in today and have opened one at this point. Gorgeous original artwork and, like all of Monsterwax's boxes, loaded with fun stuff!

I haven't sorted the base cards yet but knowing Kurt's excellent collation, I'm sure there are at least two full sets here.

This was box #24/500. Included with the package I received (but not inside the box of cards) was a full-sized poster for The Terror of Tallahasse, as well as NSU Legendary Lovecraft Promo #3. Opening up the box, I found:

N1 - Summoning Cthulhu lenticular card
M1-M6 Foil Cards (the complete set!)
LL-1 Man of Letters insert
Credit Card insert
Promos P1 and P2
Checklist A & B
Sacred Souvenir-1 The Powder of Ibn Ghazi (a packet of purple powder)
Sacred Souvenir-2 Essential Salts (a packet of black crystalline "stuff")
Sacred Souvenier-3 The Colour Out of Space (a vial of neon green "alien plasma" Big Grin )
A sweet sketch card by Neil Camera! Clap
And... a printing plate! Metal

Additionally, in the bottom of the box there was a Massachusetts Death Certificate, a postcard-sized Terror of Tallahasse card and a Toe Tag. Wink

Once I open the second box I will scan the sketches and post them.

All-in-all, a very fun box to open! Lots of great original art to look at, loads of inserts and a really cool sketch to boot. Plus a printing plate! Kurt's boxes always provide great bang for the buck and this one was no different. Thumb Up

Finally got around to scanning the two sketches:

Neil Camera and Chuck "The Hun" Solnai

Box #2 was similar in content as box #1 (got all of the foils, Sacred Souveniers, etc.) I am still missing Promo #4, however. Does anyone have an extra? I have spare P-1's, Promo-2's and Promo 3's to trade. Wave

These sound great, you certainly got a lot in your box.

My boxes arrived yesterday and were really fun to open,
A lot of great artwork and a bunch of inserts. Each box
yielded one 66 card base set, 6 cards short of a second set
and no duplicates. Debi mentioned that there should be
2 complete sets but with all the extras there simply were
not enough base cards to complete the 2nd set. After collating
both boxes I was able to complete a 3rd set. The rest of the
breaks were pretty similar and looked like this:

Box #47/500
Included with the package: The Terror of Tallahassee poster and a Legendary Lovecraft Philly Promo #1.
Inside the box--

N1 Summoning Cthulhu lenticular card
N2 Abdul Alhazred prismatic card
M1-M6 Foil Cards
LL-1 Man of Letters insert
Credit Card insert
Promos P2 and P5
Checklist A & B
Sacred Souvenir-1 The Powder of Ibn Ghazi
Sacred Souvenir-2 Essential Salts
Sacred Souvenier-3 The Colour Out of Space
Sketch card by Chris West
Also in the box was a Terror of Tallahassee postcard,
a Miskatonic University Diploma and an Arkham Library Card.

Box #48/500
Included with the package: The Terror of Tallahassee poster and a Legendary Lovecraft Philly Promo #4.
Inside the box--

N1 Summoning Cthulhu lenticular card
M1-M6 Foil Cards
LL-1 Man of Letters insert
Credit Card insert
Promos P3 and Monsterwax P-1
Checklist A & B
Sacred Souvenir-1 The Powder of Ibn Ghazi
Sacred Souvenir-2 Essential Salts
Sacred Souvenier-3 The Colour Out of Space
A printing plate from card #7
Sketch card by Neil Camera
Also in the box was a Terror of Tallahassee postcard (different from the other box),
a Massachusettes Death Certificate and a Rhode Island Toe Tag.

This was my first experience with a Monsterwax set and I really liked it, I may
have to go back and check out some of their other sets! Smile
