Well, the Bowens card is CA-2. Maybe the Jackson is CA-1, but they weren't returned in time to make it into packs.

That would be me Big Grin I don't expect to hear back from them too quickly as I think they are a little bogged down dealing with WD3P1 questions but I will post on here as well if/when I get a reply.

So it was sold then. Many a time I've been watching cards that have had a private sale and was withdrawn. Can't see it being any more sinister than this.

Cryptozoic should definitely make a cut card of Tolkien, even if it's only one. Talk about a creator autograph!

Check out the Hobbit thread in the News and Rumors section. Deligent collectors appear to have tracked down the story on the Jackson autograph.

Well, I finally caved in and broke my final Hobbit case. Not the best set of auto cards but at least they were all different this time Smile Some are definitely harder to find than others, even with four cases I was still one card short of a full Master Set of autos. Minor gripes aside, I did hit three excellent sketches Smile!

Autographs Case 4 (Number 267)

A1 Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield
A2 Ken Stott as Bailin the Dwarf
A3 Graham McTavish as Dwalin the Dwarf
A4 William Kircher as Bilfur the Dwarf
A5 James Nesbitt as Bofur the Dwarf
A6 Stephen Hunter as Bombur the Dwarf
A7 Dean O'Gorman as Fili the Dwarf
A8 Aidan Turner as Kili the Dwarf
A9 John Callen as Oin the Dwarf 'I can't hear ya.' variant
A14 Ian Holm as Bilbo Baggins
A15 Barry Humphries as the voice of the Great Goblin
A21 John Rawls as Yarneg (1 Star Variant)

Sketches Case 4

Kris Penix – Thorin Oakenshield
Francois Chartier - Thranduil
Scott Houseman – Bilbo Baggins

The Rest of Case 4

12 Complete Base Sets
4 Complete 18 Card 'Lonely Mountain' Sets
1 Complete 19 Card Character Biographies Set
2 x Lenticular Cards:

Was able to nab a pair of boxes for $75ea at the card show today. Nothing middle earth shattering but I was quite pleased...

Ah, the 7th Doctor and the Piemaker. I'd have been thrilled with either of those, and nice sketch, too. Congrats!

Can someone help me? Is there an e-mail address for Cryptozoic? I opened a Hobbit box today and pulled a damaged CA-2 Philippa Boyens autograph card. Do they have a return policy?

Thanks, I'll do that. I didn't want to subscribe to yet another web site, with another password, etc. But I guess I have no choice.

Any idea how long Cryptozoic usually takes to reply to problems such as these? Not that I'm concerned too much, it's only been 4 days, but I am curious.
