I've been a bit lazy uploading my pictures, so I'm a bit behind on this thread. Here is the Ron Wilson Brainiac sketch I pulled from my box. Cool

These are my latest boxes bought at the Big Apple Con in NYC from my favorite comics shop ever- Forbidden Planet's booth!

Box 6: 1940 of 10,000-

One Base Set

12 cards short for a second set

Gold Parallels: Aqualad, Plastic Man, Zatanna, Lex Luthor

FC3, FC8

AR4

Sketch: Shazam/Captain Marvel by Brian Kong Smile It is funny because I was flipping through his book of sketches today since he is at the con every time I go. SmileI am glad I finally pulled one of his sketches, though I wish it was his '80's Black Canary sketch, which I really want to get should it show up anywhere.

Box 7: 7918 of 10000

One Base Set

13 cards short of a second set

Gold parallels: Batgirl, Superman, Captain Cold, Riddler

FC4, FC7

AR1

L5

Sketch: Doctor Fate by Jim Kyle

Loved both the boxes though I was hoping for a Wonder Woman sketch- oh well. Smile

Val

That's a great case QBall. I particularly like the Spears WW and Antonio Black Canary, but there's many excellent sketches there.

Hi all - I'm brand new to this board and pretty new to the hobby (converted sports card collector)... Here is a recent case break of DC Legacy:

Let me know what you think - all or for trade although I'm pretty partial to the Kyle Wonderwoman and the Kong Wondergirl.

I've been picking up Katie Cooks and Batman (and villains).

Thanks,

kneepain (on eBay)

Welcome aboard- I like your sketches alot, the Bigley Batgirl is quite cute and I am totally partial to Black Canary sketches. (The Razek Wonder Woman is great too!)

hi kneepain

Welcome and a nice case to start. I would be interested in trading but your email address isn't in your profile. Please send me an email and you can also check my website for sketches I have for trade.

Picked up a 3 box lot on ebay 2 weeks ago, a great deal at $52 per box. They arrived today.

Box 1- Black Canary (I think) by Dave Lynch (150)
Box 2- The Flash by Grant Gould (300)
Box 3- Lex Luthor by Mark Spears (600)

I'm still not positive that it's Black Canary but none of the other females I see on the approved character list comes close. If this was Marvel I'd say it might be Mockingbird.

The more I see of Lynch's sketches, the more I like. The Batman and the Canary are both great. QBall, I also really like the Asrar Firestorm and Kong Beetle (classic pose, falling from the bug).

I will admit it, I have no willpower. However, this is definitely my last case (9th) as there is no way I could ever top it.

Spears Superman - definite keeper Smile
De Liz Hawkgirl - another keeper and one of my favourites Clap
Dan Day Green Arrow
Amorim (I think) Flash
Richlen Darkseid
Hillsman Wonder Girl - Hillsman's colours seem to add so much energy
Sobol Cyborg - another keeper, a very unusual sketch
Martineck Joker Clap
Molinelli Spectre
Perna Superman
Wagner Batman
Price Joker Bouncey
