Hobby boxes have 36 packs of 8 cards + 1 parallel "gold signature card". Expect 5.52 common sets of 50 per box if collation were perfect. Retail boxes have 36 packs of 5 cards + 1 parallel. Average 3.52 common sets of 50 per box. The ratios for chase cards are the same per card for the two distributions, but fewer per Retail box because there are fewer cards per pack. A gold etched foil card and box-topper medallion coin are Hobby exclusives.

A checklist card, a subscription card, and a 4-fold product catalog are inserted in every pack. Sometimes the checklist isn't included with complete base sets, which is a bit of a gyp because they are 1-per-pack and feature thumbnail images of the full series.
