Picked up some RETAIL packs. Retail and hobby appear to share the Scratch and Fiona chase. The retail version offers exclusive tattoos.

I was told the retail had a different set of the Scratch and Stink cards. So I think you've got 2 sets of them to put together.

Apparently Inkworks sold LOTS of retail on this one.

Interesting Ed and good to know. The Scratch chase I have appear to be the same as the scan above, but will check when at home. Hope they are different.

Nice sketch Smile

Great set of cards, I have one of the Cat Staggs sketches of the Gingerbread man, (number 151 on the Inkworks site) and noticed that another hand showed on the edge of the picture, its one of a pair Roll Eyes now i have to try to hunt down the other one. (number 131)

The full picture is a Gingerbread Bride and Groom, i have the Groom.

Great sketch though, i am still in awe of the talent of some of these artists who do card sets

yes they are a pair.. I have a few sets but they broke them up in the numbering process...also a Captain Hook will never be paired up as only the Hook with the Gingerbread man's reflection was approved..the Captains face was not. Frown

Well, I can't see any difference between the hobby and retail scrath cards. There may still be some distinctions in color or numbering that I can't see from the scans HIM provided. Anybody want to chime in on this question?

Confused

I had fun with this set, the base and chase broke well, and the sketches , well, I don't see how anybody can be disappointed with what they pull. It appears that the artists had to keep to images clearly consistant with the movie, I perfer it when they let the artists have a little more fun and creativity with a license, but the sketches are still first class. Here are my pulls:

Here are samples of the retail scratch cards and the tatoos. The scratch card on the left is the retail version, with a green background. On the right is the hobby, with a gold background. I like what Inkworks has done, as the tatoos are 1 in 2 packs and the scratch cards are in every pack, so if you have the hobby you can still put together the retail inserts quite easily.

Picked up 20 retail packs for 70 cents (the lot, not each).

Base sets:
1st set: Nearly 1 full base set (Missing 8 cards).
2nd set: 44 of 72 cards (Missing 28 cards).
3rd set: 19 of 72 cards (All different).
Very good correlation for less than a full box.

Scratch & Stink foils:
Full set S-1 - S-6 plus plenty of extras.
S-1 (Shrek) (x2),
S-2 (Fiona) (x3),
S-3 (Puss in Boots) (x4),
S-4 (Donkey) (x5),
S-5 (Gingy) (x4),
S-6 (Pinocchio) (x2). Great correlation.

Fiona's Fairytale:
Nearly full set 3 of 5.
F-1 (Fiona),
F-3 (Snow White),
F-5 (Rapunzel)
Beat the odds (1:17) with 3:20 and all different. Happy with that.

Temporary Tattoos
Full set 6 of 6:
T-1(Shrek) (x3),
T-2(I'm All Ears),
T-3(Happily Ever After),
T-4(Holy Guaca-Moly) (x2),
T-5(I'm Into Mythical Creatures) (x2),
T-6(Ogres Rock).

Great break down and much easier to complete than the hobby version. Thumb Up

Nice cards, good designs, great correlation, fun for the whole family.
